Ironically, it wasn't long after posting this photo that I ran into this discussion in the Madison Wisconsin Flickr Group. Makes me wonder what our state reps would think of the "rule" Todd Klassy ran into on campus the other day?

One warm day and time for one quick bike ride.

I've been playing with Picassa2 lately.

The South African national flag is probably my favorite flag in the entire world... next to the US flag that is.

These flags on the overpasses have been up since 9/11 and are replaced periodically by a NJ local who raises money for them. This flag was damaged by the high winds from hurricane Earl and was replaced shortly after this shot was taken.

I may have gone a touch overboard with the burned-edge effect in photoshop here. But nonetheless, it's proof we were in Quebec.

Soldiers from the 3d U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) place U.S. flags at headstones as part of Flags-In at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia, May 23, 2019. For more than 55 years, soldiers from The Old Guard have honored our nation’s fallen heroes by placing U.S. flags at gravesites of service members buried at both Arlington National Cemetery and the U.S. Soldiers’ and Airmen’s Home National Cemetery just prior to the Memorial Day weekend. Within four hours, over 1,000 soldiers place 245,000 flags in front of every headstone and Columbarium and niche wall column. (U.S. Army photo by Elizabeth Fraser / Arlington National Cemetery)

Along with the US and state flag the six flags are there with one for each of the national championships

Flags at newly opened restaurant at Burewala. I ould'nt understand the reason of having these multinatonal flags.

It is no surprise that I once again post a series of this formation. I love this routine that is performed at every Razorback football and basketball game. I don't believe that there is another cheerleader team in the NCAA that incorporates it's state's flag so effectively into the game. Go Hogs!

The wind was whipping pretty good today so I thought it might be a good time to make an image of "Old Glory" with a fast shutter speed.

WIT - I took this on a very windy bright day. I used a polarizing filter to get a little more saturated color. Other than that just a little crop and contrast.

Replaced with the pole cloned from the grass.....maybe helps a little!
