"The flag of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (Turkish: Kuzey Kıbrıs Türk Cumhuriyeti bayrağı) is based on the flag of Turkey with the colors reversed and two horizontal red stripes added at the top and bottom. It was the result of a competition to find a new representative flag for the TRNC.
The flag of TRNC waves in the countries where TRNC has diplomatic relations, i.e. Turkey and the non sovereign Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic in Azerbaijan. The flag of the TRNC is used in opposition to the flag of Cyprus as the flag of Northern Cyprus. The local use of the Turkish flag is somewhat similar to the use of the Greek flag in the rest of the island." (From Wikipedia)

Built in 1971 by SW G.J. Bijlsma & Zonen BV, Wartena as JANA WESTON for Mardorf, Peach & Co Ltd (Weston Shipping). Sold in 1984 to Custodian Leasing Ltd (Whitbury Shipping Co Ltd, managers) and renamed BORELLY. Ownership tranferred to Clientcare Ltd in 1987. Sold in 1992 to Parkside Warehousing & Transport (Genchem Marine Ltd, managers). Placed under St. Vincent flag in 2014. Last reported anchored and apparently abandoned off Colon, Panama in 2016.
American Civil War re-enactors parading the Union Flag. Prior to 1863 the flag had 34 stars, then West Virginia separated from Virginia to join the Union and a 35th star was added.
Honoring our Veterans
Members of the 511th Military Police Platoon and SETAF Carabinieri (Camp Darby Detachment) conduct a flag raising and lowering ceremony with a flag sent by Wayne Lohmoeller. His father was stationed at Camp Darby in the early 1950’s and his son wanted to present him with a U.S. flag that had actually been flown at Camp Darby for his father’s 80th birthday.
