Well, color me confused and embarrassed. I guess that I am officially in that phase of my life where others (and even myself) may question my mental faculties … and, obviously, for good reason. You see, almost two weeks ago, the number B4 was drawn in my Flickr Bingo 2 group. This number is to be illustrated by images of flags. Every day, I’d go into the group and see photos of flags. I’d think to myself, “That’s an easy shot, too bad I don’t have it.”

:::Note: This is the embarrassing part::: [self-conscious laugh] Well, it seems that, when we got to choose our own numbers for our cards, I DID pick this number because it was an “easy” one. You’d think I’d check the darned card to see if it was on there, wouldn’t you? I mean, that would have been the most logical way of doing it instead of relying on my memory. Oh! Well! Maybe it’s time to up that dosage of my Aricept.

Anyway … Here is my belated official entry into Week 7’s assignment for Flickr Bingo 2.

we have started flying a flag at our building. we bought it through senator barbara boxer’s office, and it flew over the united states capitol on june 20, 2007.

Okay, so the flags are actually flapping in the wind, not at rest...but this was taken at a rest stop along a highway.
