Cool light fixture under the driveway canopy at the Mirage Hotel. Shauna almost missed the tram back to Treasure Island because she was so busy trying to take a picture of it. July 16, 2007.

My wife installed a new ceiling fixture a couple of days ago. She is awesome! Plus the new fixture makes some cool looking shadows on the ceiling and the wall.

This one was really interesting, but I am not sure that I would long-term love a blue and gold chandelier....

Love the mounds of snow.

Detail at Caesars.

I own a very small share in one of our historic downtown Nashua buildings. There was a directors meeting this week so I took the opportunity to visit the very old fashioned ladies room. It still has many of the original fixtures. This is the light switch. They've cut out a little window in the door to the stall so it can be reached from both sides.

Debbie was kinda forced to take a different view of the challenge. She went for a walk at Bensons and stopped at the wildlife blind where I spotted a heron. She took his picture and waited 15-20 minutes for him to fly so I could get an action shot. She continued her walk and returned about an hour later never imagining he'd be there still. But, there it was standing in the EXACT same spot. Therefore, she is claiming that this heron is a fixture at Bensons Park.

We have this rather bizarre, iron, light fixture in our kitchen that Lauren hates. It's a little macabre. I find it equally unsightly (especially for a kitchen fixture), yet strangely fascinating.

The new fluorescent fixture (2x T8 4-foot 32-watt 3000K 2975 lumen warm-tone bulbs) after Lisa installed it in place of the 6x 40-watt incandescent bulbs.

This, at the corner of the Station in Saint Paul, is an odd fixture, that obviously protects the brick facade by absorbing the scrapes of trucks. But it is just so ORANGE.

This 3 Lamp Fixture is great for indoors or out. Shop Studios can wite it for you or you can take it as is. The fixture is 30 inch long and 6.5 inch tall - ready to be mounted. www.shopstudios.com

"Heat" 2009 Challenge 194/365

Shannon President Vinny Ryan announced a fixture in memory of his friend Jim McNicholas who died after a short illness early last year. Jim had a long associations with both clubs as player and official having served as Treasurer and President of the Leprechauns and having prematurely passed away while serving as Vice President of Shannon RFC. Jim had many friends in the rugby community and also within the ESB where he worked. Jim, a native of Baal, Co.Mayo is sadly missed by his family and a wide circle of friends. Shannon RFC and the Limerick Leprechauns hope, in Jim's name, to raise badly needed funds for local charities The veteran's game kicked off at 1pm in Coonagh on Sunday April 21st.
