A regular light fixture in the Ohio Statehouse. They are supposed to look like gas lights that have been converted to electricity. The turnkey at the bottom of each arm has the Great Seal of Ohio.

This picture shows where the metal banisters are fixed, and that they are a later addition -- they don't quite look a full part of the design, even though they never looked out of place. Neatly fixed where the joints in the sides are placed.

This was in Meissen's oldest house, which has been converted to a private art gallery, where we were hosted for the start of our tour. I have no idea how old this thing is, but I'm kind of glad i don't have to wash my hands under it...

I didn't get a chance to take more than a shot of this because the elevator was there already. Our office lobby/corridors are lined with these embedded fixtures.

In July of 2021 High West Dispensary was entering the competitive cannabis scene in Denver, CO and needed a turn-key retail space that would turn heads. Entrusting the vision to dispensary design maven, Megan Stone (High Road Design Studio), and the build-out to Britten WoodWorks™, High West was looking for a full millwork package that would make a mark in the Mile High City.

Frequent design-fabrication partners, High Road handed off the vision for WoodWorks™ to create. Stone’s design called for blonde wood encased in metalwork, brightly lit glass shelving, and an impressive wood-paneled industrial installation suspended from the ceiling. An established 360 fabricator familiar with wood, metal, glass and graphics, WoodWorks™ manufactured the casework, shelving, and desktops to exact design specs. The result—a stunning replica of the High Road’s render made a reality in High West’s retail space.

Fostering close relationships with designers like High Road Design, WoodWorks™ convert modern and exciting concepts into exacting millwork realities. “Britten did a great job bringing the vision for High West’s redesigned retail space to life,” said Megan Stone, founder and creative director of High Road Design Studios, “They made sure the integrity of the design made it from renderings to reality without skipping a beat, and handled the post-installation follow ups with courtesy and concern.”

The chandelier hanging in the center of the Grand Hall at the newly-restored Indiana Landmarks Center is solid and simple, yet reveals more detail the longer you look at it. The lighting design in the Grand Hall makes for some interesting color combinations as the ceiling in the background contrasts or complements the glowing glass dome of the chandelier. This cool and soothing blue-green combination made for a relaxing backdrop for the harp music being played on the stage during the open house.

There is still a lot more to learn with Blender. I've gotten the modeling down but I still haven't got the textures and lighting figured out well yet.

I absolutely love the ceiling and light fixture in our office.

This is a glass sculpture that hangs from the cieling at an art museum in Corpus Christi. I cannot remember who the artist was, but I will find out the next time I go. This picture is taken from directly underneath it. The sides are really wonderful, I will post the sides later.

This is a head on shot of the light in my dinning room. I laid down on my back and to get this angle.
