Whitburn Cricket Club's badge, displayed on their scoreboard, which is dedicated to Len Ashurst. Captured during a sixth-versus-fourth Banks Salver East Group derby fixture with North East Premier League rivals Sunderland, who won by seven wickets.
All-rounder Micky Allan was Sunderland's hero. The pacer wrecked Whitburn's batting by taking 6-16 then, coming in at No 3, struck 42 as the visitors recovered from 2-2 to win at a canter.
In the face of tight bowling and enthusiastic fielding, the hosts never got going. Extras (24) was Whitburn's top score. They slumped to 47-5 before Paul Shields (19) and Gareth Welsh (18) put on 33 for the sixth wicket. After their departure, Sunderland mopped up the tail speedily. Spin duo Zaheer Shabaz (2-11) and Hamza Tahir (2-12) impressed with their accuracy.
Two early Whitburn strikes, removing without scoring openers Greg Applegarth and Daniel Shurben, raised hopes of a contest. But Allan and Mark Turner (29 not out) added 86 for the third wicket, taking Sunderland to the brink of victory. Allan was dropped and Turner caught off a no ball. It really wasn't Whitburn's day. Kieran Waterson finished with 2-20.

The Frank Duffy 10 Mile Road Race 2012 was held in the Phoenix Park, Dublin, Ireland on Saturday 25th of August 2012 at 10:00. The race is now one of the most well attended fixtures on the Irish race calendar. It is part of the official series of races which build up to the Dublin City Marathon in October. This race follows on from the Fingal 10KM race and preceeds the Half Marathon in September, also in the phoenix park. This year the Frank Duffy 10 Mile attracted over 6,000 athletes took part. The rain finished just in time before the race began. Overall the 10 mile race was run on the familiar but tough course around the Phoenix Park.

This is the fixture that I used to drill the Exhaust Deflector Tip. After one arch was drilled, I unscrewed the part, rotated 180°, and screwed it tight, and drilled the second arch, using the pre-drilled hole in the aluminum block as a guide.

Materials are displayed on traditional shelving and fixtures that were designed and built for Arts & Scraps. The white barrels were donated by Coke. They were cut by a volunteer and are used upright or sideways in fixtures designed and built by carpenter/artist/volunteer Larry DeCoster.
This is the light fixture above our table at E&E Steakhouse on Indian Rocks Road in Largo, FL. It was a great restaurant and had the best wait staff that I've seen in ages!!

Earlier this year, Target Canada Co. announced that it would close all of its stores and try to exit the Canadian market rapidly. As stores were closing, the stores' fixtures were also for sale. At a store that is now closed, they probably had these bins at every store. Now, it's inside of a Chinese grocery store in Saskatoon named Eastern Market.

Pretty happy with how this came out for a first attempt. I'll modify another set of clamp blocks to hold seat stays too, see how that goes.
I was in the lobby of a community center and saw this light fixture hanging from the center of the ceiling. I stood directly under it and shot a picture of it looking straight up. It looks like a snowflake design all lit up to me.
