Young male Grey Shrike-thrush (Colluricincla harmonica) fixing his fine eye on the viewer.
Named for a superficial resemblance to "old world" families, the GST is neither shrike nor thrush, but a type of whistler. Their joyous and melodic song is a familiar and much-loved sound throughout eastern Australia and Tasmania (and southern New Guinea).

When you try your best but you don't succeed
When you get what you want but not what you need
When you feel so tired but you can't sleep
Stuck in reverse.
And the tears come streaming down your face
When you lose something you can't replace
When you love someone but it goes to waste
Could it be worse?
Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you
And high up above or down below
When you're too in love to let it go
But if you never try you'll never know
"Just what you worth"
Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you
Tears stream, down on your face
When you lose something you cannot replace
Tears stream down your face and I...
Tears stream, down on your face
I promise you I will learn from my mistakes
Tears stream down your face and I...
Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you.

Yes, this is my shoulder. It is the result of an operation I had done six years ago to repair my shattered clavicle. 6 titanium screws and a titanium plate hold it all together.
It's good as new now :)
Shot in Cains Brewery also known as The Peaky Blinders' Bar in the Baltic triangle, Liverpool.
Model: Mathew McMahon
The key light is behind the bar: an AD200 with the curly tube, inside a 24" pop-up softbox with a fabric grid attached to control the spill. In the back/left I have a bare V860-II with a full cut of CTO gel to give an edge on Matt's left side. Finally, I have a Lencarta Safari II with a half cut of CTO gel, inside a Lencarta collapsible beauty dish with the front diffusion on and a fabric grid. This is lighting the background just enough to give a hint of the industrial features and in this old building. Shutter speed is slow enough to register the light from the chandeliers but not so slow that the scene is unduly lit by this flat light.
I've pumped a bit of fog into the room to simulate the smokey atmosphere of a 1920's bar.
Finally, on the camera, is a Lee Soft-1 filter to give a bit of flare and bloom to the highlights.

My first figure upload in 10 months, I'm back with my 5th version of Delta Squad. Starting us off is Fixer, the tech expert and squad second-in-command.
The decals are 100% designed and applied by me. CloneArmyCustoms manufactured the helmet, backpack, and carbine. They are some fantastic pieces.
I changed decal paper brands, got a much higher quality printer, and now use laser printed decals. All of this allowed me to make a much higher quality product.
This is a brand-new template, one that went through several trial runs (including three versions of Delta that I never posted, hence this being the 5th version). Decals cover every surface of the figure. The arm design covers almost the entire area of the arm, and what wasn't covered (the edges of the shoulder) I painted black. All torso and leg designs wrap around to all four sides of the piece smoothly. There is even a decal on the top of the torso (though I didn't snag a picture). The helmet and backpack templates are also vastly improved. My leg template was heavily inspired by AndrewVxtc, though I did make some different design and aesthetic choices, and I designed it all myself. Shoutout to Andrew, thanks for the inspiration!
I drybrushed black acyrillic paint over the entire figure to give it a really nice weathered look. The chips in the paint were designed in the decals, however. It turned out really nice and adds a lot to the figure. Though it's hard to see, I also drybrushed the DC-17 with a gunmetal color.
One of the things I love most about this figure are all the little details I was able to fit in. For starters, Fixer has his two-toned design, and I tried to make it as subtle as I could while still making it visible. He has his pauldron-type-thing on his right shoulder, something very few customizers add.
Shoutout to my friend Aidan for helping me with the photography!
View on all sizes to get a better look. C&C appreciated.
Even when intentions are salvation,
and fixing you would be the wish,
stepping back might be wise,
as what we want might not be best.

a few days ago the pin in the neck broke and Lily lost her head. After a little bit of thinking I had an idea how to fix it so that it still can be moved/tilt.
Photo from left to right
1. showing the neck with broken inner pin
2. I drilled a hole with the 1 mm drill. Important at the same position where the pin broke of.
3. The tiny hole I've made that backside of the body
4. I made the hole a little bit bigger to get the nail in.
5. Assembling the nail and "big pin"
6. I pulled the nail a little bit out and cut it of. To make sure the nail will end with the end of the body.
7. No pic - Sorry I've put tiny bit of hot glue onto of the nail. To make sure it would come of or damage the head. I've put all together an the head can tilt and the "nail" is hidden by the head.
Hope it will help you fix your girls body.

Broadmoor pre-Fed Flood. These guys lived down the street from me--the light from the lamp at night caught my attention. I probably should've taken a shot several feet back to capture the scene better.
What are not seen on the fronts of these rows of shophouses include air vents, aircon units and what nots. And these men do the fixing and installations.
I had to fix up my red dress before modeling properly.Of course wearing my maid's dress gets me in the mood to work. I love wearing both of these dresses.

Here's another shot of the lil bunnies I saw last weekend....for part 2 of Happy Furry Friday..:O))
Oh...and after six weeks the saga of the Sigma 70-300mm long lens has been sorted....believe it or not, they told me they couldn't fix it, as there were parts that were needed that they couldn't get!!!
Sooooooooooo they gave me a new one....but when I went to pick up the new one this afternoon, they also gave me back the old one!!
Which I thought was OK...as although the auto focus wasn't working, it still worked on manual, so I thought it would be good to have as another back up or something...:O)))
Hoooooooooooowever...when I tried it out...guess what...It's fixed!!!!!!!! How that happened, Lord only knows!!!, not that I'm going to complain..lol
Soooooooo now from not having any long lenses, I have only gone and blinking got three...ROTFLMAO...:o))))
Now I have to work out how to use three at the same time...I now have 2 Sigma 70-300mm and one Tamron 70-300mm lens...lol
Anyhoo....I hope you all have a wonderful weekend...:O)))

These photos show different stages of idol-making in the dingy lanes of Kumartuli (clay-workers' colony) in Kolkata. These idols are then carried to different locations all over the city for the festival of Durga Puja, which is the five-day worship of the Goddess Durga.

This is a 2 (up) by 7 (across) stitched pano (camera in portrait position) with a 3-bracket hdr. The HDR was batch processed first via Photomatix and then the HDR frames were stitched together in Autopano Giga. Final touch in Photoshop.
