I really like my new purchase. It's built like a tank (weighs like one too), built in bellows for macro shots, interchangable lens system, multi-exposure and looks so darn cool.
About the shot - Double exposure and processed in LightRoom. Shoot on Lucky 100 film.
This is also self-developed with Ilford developer and fixer.

Was not really possible to get the good sun without the high tension wire tower. I have passed this for almost 20 yrs promising myself I would stop tp get the pic. About a week ago, I followed up. I never go by when I don't imagine what it would be like to buy it and fix it up.
We arrived home from this morning's Sunday Service to discover that our water had been cut off. The first place I always look when this happens is to check our community Facebook Page to see what's happened - a burst watermain apparently .I've never seen so many people squabbling online in my life over something. I decided instead to spend my time with my camera and came up with this,.... it took as long to capture as it did for Welsh Water to fix the problem .
Just to add that it's similar to one that I captured last year except that the flowers here are another bunch of Wedding Anniversary Flowers.
Next: how to remove glue dots from my distance specs 😎

When you get what you want, but not what you need
When you feel so tired, but you can't sleep

I'm always amazed by how even the ugliest subject can look incredibly beautiful when viewed at just the right angle... and in just the right light! There is hope for me yet! ;)
I'd really like to thank Daleen and Schalk Engelbrecht for inviting me to waffle-on about my fun-times while photographing the Knysna forests at your George Camera Club's AGM last night... and for accommodating me in your amazing Fancourt home! Your generosity during the past 24 hours was appreciated more than you could ever imagine! Thanks also for showing me some really cool stuff today, most of which I would probably never have found by myself. Like this stunning little fix-me-upper in the tiny, miniscule (no-horse) town called "Herold"... which I never even knew existed before today!?
Just a touch of plaster and a lick of paint... then this scene would to be perfect... right?
Nope... in my opinion... this scene is absolutely perfect exactly as it is!

Enjoying the sunshine and hoping to get a 'clicker fix' I got a full shot of this adorable skunk that wasn't lying in the middle of the road but was enjoying the sunshine also.
I have to admit that when I got out of the car it must have startled him/her, it raised it's tail, turned around, and sprayed. It was too far away and the wind was blowing away from me, but I could smell the scent...then it completely ignored me as it found a place to lay in the sun and take a nap...lol
Denn Pinguin.
In dem Sinne. Ich geh mal arbeiten. Bis morgen. =)

My harddrive with all my 2019 scans on is not responding so hopefully I can fix it.

I don't know if many other people are experiencing this, but both my Anna and Elsa dolls came out of the box with really, really bent legs. I've had this trouble before, so I've developed a way of fixing them: if you're not sure how to do it, then here's how.
1) Press the legs into the straight position you want. You then need to use colourless elastic bands to keep them 'splinted' into position. (It's very important to use colourless elastic bands, as otherwise the colour may transfer to the legs themselves. I used the bands that kept these particular dolls in the box, but I've used clear loom band-type ones before.)
2) Once your legs are splinted, you need to stand the doll in a reasonably sturdy glass or jar, then pour boiling water over the legs, to about an inch below the hip joint (mid thigh, basically). Keep them there for about five minutes, then take the doll out carefully and hold the legs in cold water to 'set' the new leg position. Dry off your doll.
3) Take your elastic bands off, and voilà! There you have it: nice straight legs. (You do get a slight dent in the vinyl where the bands lie on the legs, but frankly, I can deal with them when compared to the bandiness of the legs the way they were to start with.)
