In five years, Web Summit has grown from 400 attendees to over 42,000 from more than 134 countries. It’s been called “the best technology conference on the planet”. But we just think it’s different. And that difference works for our attendees, ranging from Fortune 500 companies to the world’s most exciting startups.

You may recall this photo taken at Boys Town 3 days earlier. Well it happened again. A lady came by the Chewbaru as has been my habit I asked her if she had any teeth she would like to donate to Chewbaru. Turns out she has her retainer from when she was a teenager back in North Dakota. She returned home and got it and once again Erika was gluing teeth to the chewbaru.

The same city in a very different world, clearly illustrated by events elsewhere in 1893: check out en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1893
Five Points marks the intersection of Marietta Street, Decatur Street, Peachtree Street and Edgewood Avenue. Even before all of that, it was the intersection of two Indian trails.
In the top photo, the base of a water tower can be seen on the right hand side. That tower is part of the old artesian well system that provided Atlanta with drinking water. The system components were made almost entirely of wood, including the pipes.

Five years after Katrina, we still have houses like this all over. Note the front door is just standing wide open. This was taken in the 3000 block of Banks Street.

It was not uncommon to see five groupers on one dive, but to get them in one shot is very unusual. Pleased with cramming them in despite the poor quality of photo
Five Below #280

This location opened in summer 2011 and was originally located here; it was originally an Ashby's, which opened on April 16th, 1984 and closed in winter 1988. It became a Sassafras in March 1988, which closed on July 6th, 1996, and became a Gateway Country in December 1997, which closed in April 2004.
These five stones are a traditional shrine representing the five elements gold, wood, water, fire, and earth, built into a retaining wall. This was the first time I've seen anything like them. They seem very unusual.
