The work of five United Nations Committees will be simulated within the Conference. The following topics will be debated at the MUN Conference to be held with the parcipitation of 350 young people as diplomats, representing more than 20 universities, academies and schools:
-UN General Assembly (UN GA) – “Strengthening of the UN system and reform of its main institutions”

-UNESCO – “Protecting historical sites and cultural heritage from strikes during wars and terrorist attacks”
-UNHCR – “Developing durable solutions to challenges of refugee crisis”

All MUN participants were required to pass through a series of process of screenings, interviews and trainings.
It should be noted that from each UN Committee "The Best Delegate", "The Best Position Document" and "The Best Debater" are to be selected. The winners will be presented with certificates and valuable prizes by the organizers.
The conference is organized within the "Creating new platforms to support active youth engagement in the global policy debates" project which has jointly been implemented between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Azerbaijan in accordance with the Decree of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, N 348, dated March 19, 2014.
One of the main goals of the project is the institutionalization of the UN Model (hereinafter referred to as MUN) movement in Azerbaijan, the establishment of MUN clubs at the universities, and the creation of MUN network (Model UN Network) that will unify them.
In this regard, a number of activities have already been carried out - presentations about Model UN were held at higher education institutions, MUN clubs were established, conferences were organized at the intra-university and inter-university levels. Relevant promotional work was carried out through social media networks and means of mass media.
About Model UN: Model UN is a real-life simulation of the UN General Assembly, UN Security Council and other UN agencies, guiding the students through the world of diplomacy and cooperation. At the Model UN students conduct debates on current issues of the organization's agenda. Students draft resolutions and strategy plans, negotiate with allies and adversaries, and resolve conflicts in the interest of mobilizing international cooperation to solve problems.

The old rime is something like this:-
The Star which doesn't shine in the sky,
the Woodman who doesn't cut down trees,
the Ship that cannot sail the seas,
the Mill which doesn't grind corn,
and Who'd a Thought it!

This is a Saturday afternoon picture of the "High Five" in Dallas. During rush hour there is much more traffic.
Recreating the last days of steam, Black Five 44767 leaves Loughborough on the 30th January 2010. The headboard was a very nice touch but unfortunately the reporting number didn't match the train.

Barely got any sleep, but woke up at 8 thanks to a cat falling from a tree and hitting my window. Most random thing ever. I waited till the rest of my household woke up, although my mom already did and was by this time already gone as well. I took a shower around 10. Left about 11:30 to pick up Rachel and then headed over to church. Today was our annual Aquinasfest. We have it every year since I can remember and even though they changed the location three years ago, it's still pretty much exactly the same. So at this Aquinasfest, there are games, food, live auction, silent auction, live music, etc. It's just a festival. I enjoyed it, even if my shoes did get muddy and it was really hot. So, then I took Rachel home. Later I went to bible study, then stayed and watched/played football with people from youth.

A 140 year old church in Sydneys inner city suburb of Ultimo was destroyed in an early morning 5 alarm fire. The church contained one of the oldest church organs in Sydney and that alone was valued at more than $1m. Over 600 people were evacuated from nearby apartments and Back packers hostels while fire fighters battled the blaze. Written and photos by Martin Grant

Taken a few minutes ago, the walls were starting to close in on me so had to get out. It's a lovely evening but quite a few people out and about on the canal so was glad to get back home. It felt good to stretch my legs :-)

I got the left shoe on without too much cursing, but my deformed toes started to hurt after a few minutes. The right shoe seems comfortable, but I haven't really walked much in it.
5Pointz Aerosol Art Center, Inc. is an outdoor art exhibit space in Long Island City, New York, considered to be the world’s premiere “graffiti Mecca,” where aerosol artists from around the globe paint colorful pieces on the walls of a 200,000-square-foot factory building.
The name 5Pointz signifies the five boroughs coming together as one but, because of its reputation as an epicenter of the graffiti scene, the industrial complex has actually united aerosol artists from across the world. Legendary writers from Canada, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Japan, Brazil, and all over the United States have painted on the building walls, including Stay High 149, Tracy 168, Cope2, Part, and Tats Cru.
Over the past decade, the striking, graffiti-covered warehouse has attracted several hip-hop and R&B stars, including Doug E. Fresh, Kurtis Blow, Grandmaster Kaz, Mobb Deep, Rahzel, DJ JS-1, Boot Camp Clik, Joan Jett, and Joss Stone.
On any given day, 5Pointz visitors can expect to find prominent artists, musicians, deejays, Emcees (rappers), and B-boys (break dancers) on site, in addition to filmmakers, photographers, and entire tour buses full of admirers soaking in the more than 350 Technicolor murals.
The gallery curator is graffiti veteran Jonathan Cohen, best known by his signature tag, “Meres One.” His goal is to convert the five-story, block-long industrial complex at Jackson Avenue and Davis Street, formerly the Phun Phactory, into a graffiti art museum.
