Just East from Albufeira there are some wonderful beaches. I managed to get up early enough to capture this sunrise. An unusual subject for me.

A view overlooking Drumbanagher Parish Church. The spire is just visible poking through the fog. I liked the colours on top of the layer of fog as the sun peeped above the horizon.

A chilly autumn sunrise at 9100'. Lake Sabrina was formed in 1907 when the Nevada California Electric Company dammed Bishop Creek to create hydroelectric power for eastern California.
The Eastern Sierra range is pretty country year-round. In autumn its high density of quaking aspens create a colorful scene for photographers. At first light, however, there is very little color variation, with blues and greys dominating the palette.

Just a quick taste of #Cappadocia #Turkey. I loved the landscape and it didn't hurt that 100 hot air balloons launched each morning at sunrise!
Down to the Marina at Caleta de Fuste, Fuerteventura, hoping to catch another glorious sunrise only to find the place was shrouded in a heavy morning mist. Once the sun eventually managed to break through, the mist soon dispersed. Although the mist was quite thick, the harbour’s starboard beacon was still visible; as it should be….!
