A presentation and exhibit highlighting the experiences of the Filipina/o American communities of the Central Coast in the first floor gallery space of the Kennedy Library from 4-6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 9. Students in ES 335, Filipino American Experiences, presented the stories behind the images, which were digitized through the Re/Collecting Project. The exhibit will be on display Feb. 9-13, 2015.
On the Cutting Edge: A unicorn-deer head that a student from the Landscape Architecture class, 3D Digital Design Communication, created from laser cut cardboard.
The exhibit runs from 01/10/14 - 02/14/14

The Front Parlor, on the first floor, of the Paddock Mansion. Here you see the hand-carved antique Victorian settee, chair and covered stool. In the corner is a vintage folding screen. A walnut table is in the center of the room. An antique lamp with hanging crystals is on the small table next to the sette. A vintage floor lamp is behind the settee. The fireplace, with the decorative screen in front of it, has a gilt framed portrait above it. The retractable interior wood shutters on the tall windows slide out of sight into the woodwork frame of the windows. The Front Parlor was also referred to as the Music Room - you can see the corner of the vintage piano next to the chair. This room was for entertaining the Paddock's visitors. Both parlors have been restored to their high Victorian appearance complete with fiunishings and knickknacks. The Paddock Mansion / Museum belongs to the Jefferson County Historical Society. am staerksten ziehen die beteiligten an einem gemeinsamen strang, wenn die
grenzen zwischen den instrumenten merklich aufgeloest werden:
ventile klappern, saiten schwingen, platten kratzen.
ventile schwingen, saiten klappern, platten kratzen.
ventile kratzen, saiten klappern, platten schwingen.
ventile schwingen, saiten kratzen, platten klappern.
texturen, mikrotonale verschiebungen und innerliche tanzschrittmuster
geben den ton an und treiben das musikalische geschehen voran.

This is a section of the parlor in the Johnston House. The vintage couch and the other furniture shown belonged to the Johnston family. On the wall above the furniture are portraits of John & Margaret Johnston. This room is at the front of the farmhouse on the first floor. Located at 3523 East Lake Road in Geneva, NY. (170)
Welcome into the kitchen. Like in the other rooms in the old house it doesn't look as the kitchen has ever been cleaned. The stove is an wood-burning Husquarna 727. This model dates back to 1939. Renovated these sell for around 8000 SEK. The tour around this house chocked me. It's impossible to think that someone actually lived here up until last year.

Audrey and my sister have been working up quite a compound outside the front window of their living room. Since next-door neighbor Harry (also 6) says that long sub-level tunnels make him feel like 'i can't breef' they changed the original construction of the fort to have more of an open air feel in the section formerly known as "inside".
There are directional notes on the image, in case you're not sure where to locate the fort's second-floor bedroom.

In the center of the Back Parlor is this vintage table (with a marble top), and matching chairs. The mannequin, dressed in vintage clothing, is serving tea with an antique tea set. Behind the mannequin is a vintage piano and an elegant etagere. The Paddock's etagere is very much like today's curio cabinet. The etagere was regarded as a "museum" piece for the home. The room contains several elegant antique chairs. Under the center table is one of the Oriental rugs which are throughout the mansion. The open doorway area to the left leads into the Front Parlor. The mansion belongs to the Jefferson County Historical Society, 228 Washington Street in watertown, NY. (160)
