Only moments after the rain.

Snow on the ground and cold nights. Days are warming up a bit. If the sun is out is is strong now and heats things up. Were the sun reaches the creek it is melting and freezing. Lots of deer track now in the ravine, and signs of them eating bark and pawing in the snow.

 

The crows are back and saw/heard the first Canada goose . So maybe it really is spring...

Today was the first day of Spring. It snowed. On the plus side, there was a flock of Canada Geese feeding on the lawn of the office when I left this evening. They look like they are mite tired of the snow, too. This one is managing to look regal, despite the weather.

 

The Narcissus 'Jetfire' has clear golden petals with a contrasting orange trumpet.

The Motel won the first SFIAFF narrative feature award and is now on DVD
