Momma polar bear. She climbed up here to get away from Hudson it seemed. It took him about 5 minutes to finally climb up there by her.

We're having an after hours team building exercise at our lab this afternoon starting at 5p. Byob.
At lunch today, a bunch of us went down to the dock to clean the squid and fish we'll be frying up for snacks.
our girlie sunday walk ..she swims and i take pictures. the birds were out in full force this morning..those sounds that i haven't heard since the summer...today life was good.
The arrival of spring means people are once again visible on our city streets. I get the sense that "she" has seen many spring arrivals in downtown Guelph, each time sporting the latest fashionable arrival.

Plain and simple. Can't imagine a better way to welcome the first day of spring than quoting a thought from Lili Cuzor of Tigers to Lilies, "Plants + flowers are a necessity, not to be mistaken for a luxury," and illustrating it with one of her creations that, with its simplicity, denotes the beauty of nature.

Snow on the ground and cold nights. Days are warming up a bit. If the sun is out is is strong now and heats things up. Were the sun reaches the creek it is melting and freezing. Lots of deer track now in the ravine, and signs of them eating bark and pawing in the snow.
The crows are back and saw/heard the first Canada goose . So maybe it really is spring...
It's Spring time, though a very hot one for Singapore these few days. Here's First Day of Spring at about 6cm long and is made with pretty turquoise glass leaves, gold filigrees, pink czech glass beads and cream glass pearls. This goes well with a sweet flowy dress or with a simple top and jeans. Ear hooks and chains are 14k gold-plated.
