Third time lucky, well not really. Sunnyside is no longer the terminus as the service now extends to Ashton and it’s just a normal stop, luckily someone is waiting and the bus stops. This was a hand held attempt and was taken not only to include the First bus now running the evening service on the Maynes 231 but also the Christmas lights on the houses. It was intended as a view not a bus photo but needed a bus in the photo, you know what I mean. 19th December 2009

I had a chance to actually work in my new darkroom for the first time last weekend. I haven't worked in the darkroom for quite a long time & I had to familiarize myself with the process again. It took me several papers to get the print above to look decent.
The 8x10 print you see above is from the Polaroid 55 film I took of Summit Lake. The Type 55 film was actually longer than what the negative carrier can hold so I had to cut of about 1/4 inch from the top of the negative to make it fit. I added a #3.5 contrast filter (split filtering) just to make it print pop out a little more. Yes, I know it's backwards from the original that I posted :-)
