For the first day of our backpacking trip, it was pouring rain all the way through the night. Finally, on the second day, the rain let up. We dried our gear (to an extent), and went on a day hike. When we got back at around sunset, the sky was looking very clear, so we decided to sleep on top of Indian Head itself. This was the resulting image. It's actually 492 images combined, which is all part of a much larger 900 picture video clip that I created as well.

20/09/2016. Wright SteetDeck SK16 GVP is pictured here arriving in Newport City Centre from Bristol Parkway.

She is one of several buses laid on by First to provide rail replacement services for the Great Western Railway while the Severn Tunnel is closed.

Though yet to sample a StreetDeck for myself, design-wise I'm quite impressed. The angular front end makes them look far more modern than their Gemini 3 counter-parts.

I don't usually post this sort of image.

Nothing is quite right about it, and since it's one of my first with my dslr, it comes freighted with my insecurities about having more camera than I know how to manage. Silly, I know, how will I learn to manage without experimentation . . . but this is a way I'm hard on myself. I am trying to grow a little more forgiving.

I find that I like it anyway because it catches fleeting feelings . . . the last rays of sun, the hard play of older childhood . . . and the wild spirit of my girl.

A beautifully maintained Sprague train from the early days of the Paris metro. This train is managed by the Parisian train nerd society ADEMAS who do some worthwhile tours of the Paris metro system if your interested in seeing this kind of thing in an above board kind of way. This is very train in which they used to run “Une nuit en métro” tours of the Paris metro system.

The train is kept well out of the public eye but with a bit of persistent checking of access, one day Seb and I were lucky enough to find ourselves sitting in first class... Although we did not get to hang around for long...

I've only recently got back into shooting on film, in many ways I remember what I was disappointed about when I moved to digital. Shot on 35mm Fuji Reala 200.
