There will be many Blue Jay's on my photostream in the coming months because of the fact that they stick around through the winter months. Here is the first one of the fall, with the trees just starting to show some color change.

First bird shot of the year for me!

i have tons of unprocessed photos i would like to upload, but i suddenly headed to Marymoor this morning as there were bits of fog on the south of Lake Sammamish. it was a good decision. hundreds of geese were crossing the lake, the water evaporation was amazing too.

this one was shot with the 70-200L

i did miss quite a few shots before getting this one, i admit.

After lunch I got myself to what seemed to be a rather famous location. At a given moment, we were almost 10 people waiting for the southbound trains in Mezzocorona. The first freight that passed was this intermodal from Köln to Verona, hauled by Lokomotion's 193 404 and 193 771. First time I got to see an Alpha Trains Vectron for real. Meaning my last visit to the Brenner line was way too long ago.

It was a pleasant wait, but only 1 more freight cam out of the mountains before it was time to move.

This was taken about 40 minutes before sunrise at Lake of Two Rivers in Algonquin Park. The dreamy effect of the long exposure gives a sense of how my vision was after getting up at 4am to go for this shot. :)

My first camera the Kodak Instamatic 50 bringing photography to the masses like the Kodak Brownie did decades before around 1900 .. The Instamatic came out in 1963 and its stated it cost $16.00.. all I can remember it would off been about the mid sixties when I received mine , the above at around 11 or 12 years of age . It was a great little camera which instilled in me a life time interest in medium . I still have a flash cube which attaches as a push in fitting at the top providing 4 flash bulbs , one on each side of the cube , one used !

Thats it , my first camera .
