I decided to finally take advantage of the Canon Pixma Pro-100 rebates that seem to happen often. I mean, who can pass up a printer that ends up being $50? This is the first picture that I printed on the included 8.5"x11" Luster paper.

My first visit to Foresters Beach on the central coast of NSW. A great spot. Alas not much of a sky but it was worth the 60 minute drive to check out this great location. I will be back.

Ein Mitarbeiter vom Auslieferungs-Team hat mir erzählt, dass dieses Model Y das erste gebaute Fahrzeug in der Gigafactory Berlin-Grünheide ist. Es steht im Bereich der Fahrzeugübergabe.
A member of the delivery team told me that this Model Y is the first vehicle built at the Gigafactory Berlin-Grünheide. It is in the vehicle handover area.

What a morning! My first shot of today. My very first sunrise shot with this camera.. wanted to share with you all :-). I ask myself was it worth it..getting up so early that I had to resort to the yuccky coffee that they have in the lodge rooms. Ah well...no pain no gain. My ears are still buzzing with the cold air.

This bus was new to Tyrers before heading to Transdev Lancashire United and then First Eastern Counties at Ipswich before transferring to Essex.
The sun rising and lighting up the mountain peaks of Glen Affric. The whole glen was filled with mist, however the peak of Carn Fiaclach was in the clear.
Believe to be the 1st time this locomotive has passed this location on the West Coast Main,Southern Railway's Merchant Navy Class 35018 "British India Line" working 5m50 Carnforth WCRC - Carnforth WCRC via Hellifield and Blackburn and Lancaster,passing Woodacre on 06/07/2017

First group photo lesson/workshop of 2010 is to capture the first sunrise of the year in Tokyo, from a similar spot on the Bay as this shot last year was taken from.

Myself and one of my friends/photography students met up at 5am in Shimbashi today and headed down to the Takeshiba Pier to photograph the first sunrise of 2009. Not knowing exacctly where on the skyline the sun was going to appear, we may not have had - in hindsight - the best spot. But, we had a good spot nonetheless and an interesting background of some triangular shaped building and the Marine Survey vessels across the bay.
The only fly in the ointment was a drunk Japanese guy who turned up at exactly the moment the sun appeared, stripped to his underpants, jumped the railings to where I was set up, stood himself right in front of my camera and proceeded to shout about how stupid foreigners were in general and especially for sitting here with our cameras for hours to catch the sunrise.
Justin managed to pacify the guy but it meant he lost a lot of shooting time, more than me. But I was thankful for Justin's intervention as, especially when the guy started touching my camera I threatened to push him into the bay. I was set up two feet from the edge of the pier and given his totally random behaviour I was worried he would pitch me and/or my equipment into the water.
This is the first of a number of shots I made this morning. But, for now, I am off to have a rest and get some breakfast inside me!
