it was an amazing night that I saw tons of fireflies in forest. stunning !
they are also very sensitive to environmental levels of light and consequently to light pollution

The Lampyridae are a family of insects in the beetle order Coleoptera with over 2,000 described species. They are soft-bodied beetles that are commonly called fireflies or lightning bugs for their conspicuous use of bioluminescence during twilight to attract mates or prey.
Fireflies are found in temperate and tropical climates. Many are found in marshes or in wet, wooded areas where their larvae have abundant sources of food. Some species are called "glowworms" in Eurasia and elsewhere. While all known fireflies glow, only some adults produce light and the location of the light organ varies between species and sexes of the same species. The form of the insect which emits light varies from species to species (for example, in the glow worm found in the UK, Lampyris noctiluca, it is the female that is most easily noticed. In the Americas, "glow worm" also refers to the closely related family Phengodidae. In New Zealand and Australia the term "glow worm" is in use for the luminescent larvae of the fungus gnat Arachnocampa. In many species of fireflies, both male and female fireflies have the ability to fly, but in some species, the females are flightless. (Wiki)
The XK-427 Firefly is a lesser known SF3D creation. It was designed by the SDR as a test bed for improved antigravity technology. Earlier generations of Strahl AG technology proved to be harmful to humans which is why only unmanned equipment like the Neuspotter or Krachenvogal has AG as a means of propulsion. The main fuselage was based upon a heavily modified KH503 fan lift aircraft.
Four spherical antigravity pods were located in protective housings which were placed on each corner of the craft for a total of 4 AG pods. No additional means of propulsion is indicated or shown. It had a crew of two and carried a single 128mm cannon as the main armament. On its maiden voyage, the Firefly crashed in Mercenary Army territory. The Mercenary scientists were able to duplicate the technology which was later used to power the Falke Anti-Gravity Raider.

This Sherman Firefly tank is in front of the Remember Museum 39-45 in Thimister-Clermont, Belgium. Originally a British tank, the gun has been replaced to make it look like an American M4A4 tank..

This photo was created using artificial intelligence and was not photographed. Who needs a camera anymore in this age of artificial intelligence? Is this going to be fun or is it frightening?
In the depths of the summer forest, the sun will set, the forest will be surrounded by the darkness ... The beautiful light dance of the Princess firefly will begin in the darkness where no one enters his feet. It is a shine of life of only 10 days on a summer evening.
Fireflies going across the mountain slope. The light that fireflies make creates a beautiful and shining road.
PLEASE COMMENT IF YOU FAVORITE!
"Gotham's gonna burn!"
Pretty simple. I forget who I saw use this helmet for Firefly, but I'm not the first. Also, I don't love the flamethrower, but it does it's job. If you have suggestions for a better design, leave me a comment about it. Anyways, hope you enjoy.
