don't they remind you of anything but simply lights? it was one of those moments when you look at something but see something else entirely- i looked at bright yellow lights on the dock, but saw sweet summer nights chasing fireflies in the grass. it's just amazing.

I'm not sure but I think this is a firefly. There are lots of them in my backyard after dark. I found this one in my tiny veggie patch this afternoon.
From the canceled show Firefly, and the upcoming movie Serenity, this is Summer Glau, playing "River Tam". Very difficult woman to draw. She's not your standard hollywood movie actress, and she spends most of the show looking recked by her mental condition.
For those not in the know, Firefly is a very awesome tv show. The refrain for the theme song begins, "Take my love/ take my land/ leave me where I cannot stand/ I don't care 'cause I'm still free/ you can't take the sky from me"
The fire at the bottom of the circle is the fire that comes out of the behind of the Firefly class ship. The chinese characters say "Serenity" - the name of the ship. I just thought the red and black were pretty and the entire design was created by me.
It has a drawstring top that closes about 1/2 way (woops! too little fabric) to protect inside items from falling out. If you do not want the top to stick out, simply stuff the top part inside the bag and it'll look like a normal liner.
