Auf den Spuren der Romanfigur Kurt Wallander habe ich in Ystad diese historischen Feuerwehrfahrzeuge entdeckt.

This horse drawn tender was purchased in 1874 and was in use until 1913. It is housed inside St Peter's Church

This old fellow was put out to pasture.

A lovely sunny day out with my group, with a iced over pond... well those that could make it...ending with having to leave the coffee shop...a fire alarm... all the drama. the girls took their drinks with them...I had to much 'stuff to grab' so in sunshine and cold, but hey! it was an experience.

A 1954 fire engine on display at the Chippewa Area History Center in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. This engine, which served the Chippewa Falls Fire Department from 1954 to 1987, was built by the Four Wheel Drive Auto Company in Waukesha, Wisconsin.

Taken early on, I rather like the long shadows.
