It's been quite some time now since I have put up pictures, since I finally renewed my pass on the 20th of August, I will hope to post more often. This picture was taken on a spur of the moment, I didn't even have to stake out the monorail like a 24 hour surveillance cop. I just happened to be there at the right time and at the right moment. I'm glad the way this turned out, would have been better if there was a submarine in there too though. Maybe next time.

2009

I've had this suitcase for ages but I have kept it stored away, its an old one, it stands on end and has hangers in it too, its cool, it has a little vanity case with it and the original bottles in it..I love anything old, antiquey, retro, vintage, anything thats been used before by someone else,it makes me happy that I can look after it after whoever else has owned it.

from a new series, finding horizons | I am posting all 22 images in chronological order and several may be reposts as this is a work in progress.

Walking through the Monocacy Nature Center looking for Fall.

OK, this was really there. Someone took the time to attach a small hinged door in the knot of a tree. I didn't have the courage to open it.

Nikon D610 + Sigma 50mm F/1.4 ART

"The Solitude of the Soul" by Lorado Taft (1914) at the Art Institute of Chicago

Went to shoot the D.C. Skyline at sunset but I could not get a good vantage point in time. Instead I decided to stop for some light meditation on the Jefferson Davis Highway.

Though somewhat dangerous if not careful, I MUST go back and get this shot again, I feel I can do better with a flash and some gels, I left my gear behind while running across three 60mph lanes, only had my trusty Coast PX25, helped me a lot even at f/22

slight crop to take out the boring area that didn't expose otherwise sooc.

Week Three

Rock a Selfie

I finally got my full body shot done for Week Three of class. Today was a beautiful afternoon at the beach.

OMG I can hardly remember tha last time I wore this LBD before. Loving its lacy ruffles. Tis time with black sandals and leather perfecto.

Ava-Grace was outside finding conkers. Ruby told her when she has found enough she will show here how to play a game with them.

It's always nice walking down Levering Place.

Seeking - and finding - silly things to do with a brick. Really just an excuse to play with the new kit....

yappi! another levitation shot! and another teddy bear appearance! LOL.

Annoying fact: i am disappointed that my parents hide things from me. Well, not literal things. It's about what is happening with my family. I like them to be open instead. How can I understand what they feel and what they want if they're not? :(

See it here, please.

Here are a few of my favorite shots from a shoot a last week and I truly love the outcome.

But which one is Nemo? Of course Dory doesn't remember. ;)

Isn't that the most crazy-intense blue! It doesn't even look real. I didn't do any color enhancement.
