Go ahead! Don't hold back! You can do it! Attack, fight and you will prevail, Big One! You are the majestic king after all. We don't always have to tone down and silence ourselves, this is ours to take! ;)
P.S. Enough resting, Mr. Gentle Lion needs to be allowed to fight for what he wants. Part of my Mr. Gentle Lion series, check out the album. :) Mostly inspired by -ATTIC- Astro Bunny Mage Hat Black!
There's been an explosion of ladybirds this late Autumn and most days this little White porch spider would have one fly in and then have it just keep on walking on no matter how hard it tried to make them stay!

I was advised quickly by some loyal contacts that there was some kind of marks on my upload yesterday. I never did see what you did and have no idea what caused whatever it was. Thus, I deleted it. But I thank you all for pointing it out. As you know, I am anything but a photographer and certainly not a technocrat on any level. I've never even had a cell phone. So the chances of me discovering what may have caused the problem are nil. Too bad, because I liked the photo and apologize for the deletion to those of you who commented and faved. However, it was obviously not what I thought it was.
To test as to whether this is a permanent flaw in some part of my process, I've uploaded a SOOC photo of Star and myself approaching the shore in a rowboat on the lake in the rain. Please let me know if you see anything which would lead you to believe the contrary. Remember this is absolutely SOOC. I appreciate your continued observations.
Bosque del Apache in New Mexico is the wintering site for thousands of sandhill cranes that migrate south from Canada. The birds spend the nights in ponds to escape predators, but with first light they head out to the fields in large crowds, where they do what birds do: feed and occasionally fight.

Not the greatest, it's heavily cropped! These two were at it for about 20 minutes! Eye gouging, slashing and disembowelment are a few of their speciality techniques... not to be messed with!
It's always nice to hear the clatter of antlers when the bucks battle it out during the rut. I watched this pair pawing the ground, thrasing the undergrowth and parallel walking beforehand. All the posturing heightened the atmosphere before the battle started.

On a short trip to the Wöhrdener Loch at the German North Sea coast we were so lucky to meet again the wild living herd of Konik Horses. We were able to watch a small fight, unfortunately in a high distance and from a bad angle. But nevertheless some of the photos could give a view of the wild beauty of these wonderful animals
