Today was international pillow fight day, I went to take some pictures and had a lot of fun. I got hit plenty of times but I didn't bring my telephoto lens so I had to take a few hits to get the photos that I wanted.
I also took some with my TLR, those should be developed/scanned next week.

Two parrots, living in a love-hate relationship in Tortola on the British Virgin Islands, in one of their many daily fights.
These spiders were sitting on broad leaf plants close to the ground, one spider per leaf waiting for anything to get close. However, one spider moved onto a leaf of another, resulting in a bit of a scuffle. The spider at the back of the photo retreated about a second later.

As Federal soldiers advanced out of Jacksonville, they initially met little resistance, and what they did meet was limited to inexperienced local militia units. That is, until Olustee when they unexpectedly blundered into a large force of veteran Confederate combat troops.
The battle of Olustee took place in open pine woods sandwiched between two swamps when approximately 6,000 Union troops met about 5,000 Confederate defenders outside the village of Olustee. Both sides fed men piecemeal into the fight and the battle raged for four hours before the Union commander ordered an organized retreat.
