Camera was set on the wing of the Sky Fighter T-34 Mentor. My father received a "Simulated Air Combat" experience out at Centennial Airport. He got a about two hours of classroom training on dogfighting tactics and then go to go up in this sucker and pretend-shoot another airplane out of the sky. Very nifty.

The suspended Sea Harrier transforms machine into captive bird, the markings tattooing its surface evoking its namesake the Harrier Hawk. A Jaguar lies belly up on the floor, its posture suggestive of a submissive animal. Stripped and polished, its surface functions as a shifting mirror, exposing the audience to its own reactions. Harrier and Jaguar remain ambiguous objects implying both captured beast and fallen trophy.

Both planes are de-commissioned fighter planes.
The Jaguar has been polished, the Harrier painted with feathers.

This particular plane is Sepecat Jaguar XZ118.
First flight in 1976, decommissioned in 2006.
The SEPECAT Jaguar is an Anglo-French jet ground attack aircraft, used by the RAF until 2007.

We visited this girls owner last weekend, where I was photographing the ceiling tiles in the hon-do (main building of worship) that were hand painted by the parishioners over a hundred years ago.
I learned her story:
When she was a tiny kitten, she had fallen through the floor boards at one of the shrines in the area, and her head got stuck. She dangled there for what they suspect was days, until her new owners children heard her mewing for her life on their way to school. Since this is *very* rural Japan, they didn't expect her to even survive until they could get her to a vet days later. Her skull had been crushed from dangling there and struggling for such a long time, and she was very dehydrated and lost a lot of blood from where it had caved in.
But fight she did, and proved she's a survivor. She's nearly a year old now, and the sweetest thing you can imagine, and has the whole of their temple grounds to play in.
A group of steam driven fighters inspired by the movie Steamboy from Katsuhiro Otomo.
A bit of the story behind these planes is that they were invented in the future, after an industrial apocalypse caused the common people to have to revert back to the more pure power of steam, and the technology was advanced like never before. The rebel factions trying to overcome the Industrial Empire quickly invented chambers capable of highly compressing steam beyond any limit known before, and invented the fighters capable of utilizing this new power. They are equipped with steam hoses leading to jets on the back for extra speed, as well as normal props to assist in take off. I hope you all enjoy the pictures.

In these quarantine days, not being able to go out to take pictures of the night sky, I decided to take some "indoor" shots.
For the "Toys" section, here is Lego Major Vonreg's TIE Fighter. This shot was made in the studio with the help of a small torch for lighting.

Hey guys, I know it's been a while since my last upload, but I have been busy with school and I caught a nasty cold last week... Well anyway for the new fighter. It is a lot like the L.M.F but it is a lot different also, it has upgraded armor, extra guns, and a different engine console. I think I'll call this one the Heavy Military Fighter. Enjoy!
Here you can see the retractable landing gear and armament. The aircraft carries a drop tank on the centerline, an air-to-ground missile under each wing and an air-to-air missile on each wingtip.

A replica Hawker Hurricane aircraft is now on display in Windsor in memory of its designer, Sir Sydney Camm.
The World War II fighter plane sits alongside the River Thames in Alexandra Gardens.
The aircraft is a reproduction of the plane flown by Battle of Britain pilot, and Marshal of the RAF, Sir John Grandy, who was also from Windsor.
Funding for the £39,000 memorial has been raised by the Sir Sydney Camm Commemorative Society.
