This is my entry for the "Show us what you've got" contest on the Starfighter group. It has an unconventional shape, but as it is primarily a space fighter, and uses repulsorlift for stabilisation, I think it looks really cool.
The Typhoon is the most advanced aircraft ever flown by the RAF. The aircraft is full of sensors and displays for the pilot who can plan and take part in defence or attack operations with aircraft they may never see. Typhoon utilises a unique Helmet Mounted Symbology System which presents the pilot with information on the screen of their helmet visor. It's quadruplex digital flight management system assists the pilot in all handling and manoeuvring.
A truly amazing aircraft which is now the backbone of UK air defence. There are 7 RAF squadrons flying this mighty aircraft from bases at Lossiemouth, near Inverness, and Conningsby in Lincolnshire. More than 100 of these fighters are planned to be our frontline through until at least the year 2030.
Also from my senior year in high school, a more refined design. The wing is a little shaky, but I'm seeing a pretty good awareness of form, use of keyline, and shading to bring out the edges. Detail and scale is more implied through seams, and there are some little details like mini vents and beveling. If only I could draw in three dimensions.Maybe I could do it now.

My 4-year old son designed and built this Spiderman (because it's blue and red) space fighter - all by himself!

Hey look! I'm back!
Sorta. Have had an insanely busy summer preparing for college and working on various things, including the book (which will be pushed back because I am going to try to get it published).
But this came to me rapidly once I got home for a few days, and although not my best work I thought I should share it. I'm still very much working on my previous WIP redesign of the SERAPH, but as an interim piece I thought I would toss something quick out.
So, this is the orbit fighter 'CAIRO.' Presumably it's some sort of heavy fighter/long range artillery weapon with advanced mobility. Weapons are a railgun and basic point-defense gear.

The blur on stage are the Foo Fighters performing at BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend in Carlisle, Saturday 14th May 2011. Wow! - what a gig, one of the best of the day.
Even when fitted with a British Merlin engine the Messerschmitt Me 109 retains its lethal sinister looks.
I was asked, by an amazing family, to be with them during their homecoming for Strike Fighter Squadron 37, "Raging Bulls". I had an amazing time, and as you can see, it was a great day!

Prize Fighter Cutlery / www.prizefightercutlery.com
Prize Fighter Cutlery is a boutique skateboard wheel label run out of Brooklyn New York. While it’s emphasis is one hundred percent true skateboarding, to keep things a bit interesting they are producing eye grabbing products a bit beyond the average shrinkwrapped set of wheels and logo shirts. They incorporate street fashion & art ethics into their line. Prize Fighter’s first run of wheels come in limited edition hand stamped knife boxes. Beyond the novel appearance the urethane is top grade and manufactured in America. Founder Ray Frech, who has been skateboarding for over twenty years, states “I could care less if people aren’t into the company but I don’t want people to say the wheels are trash, so I made sure they had a solid ride.” Ray and his long time friend/skateboarder/graphic designer worked hard on the branding images. The image of the company is nestled somewhere in classic New York culture. Street fights, fisticuffs, knives, barbershops, pool halls, hot rods, tough guys. It’s a mix of the worlds of the films Rumblefish and Raging Bull. Prize Fighter is taking care of a few underground rippers known around the New York skateboard scene. They include: Chad Caruso, Nick Sassa, Jon Pierre Vargas, Mike Lent, Scott Sutherland, Leo Gutman and Pat Rumney.
