Marine Fighter Attack Training Squadron 101 (VMFAT-101) is a United States Marine Corps F/A-18 Hornet training squadron. The squadron is based at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, California and falls under the command of Marine Aircraft Group 11 (MAG-11) and the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing (3rd MAW).

This was a WIP forever that was originally intended for Peter's Assymetrical Fighter challange. It was gonna be much wider and much assymetricaller. But the big gun I was gonna add didn't really play out, and I was getting tired of letting it languish, so I sold out and went symmetrical on it. I wanted to use a wider variety of purple parts, but it didn't really flow.
I really like the engine pods, but on the whole the ship is pretty bland from the front.

Because my old one was crap. I redid this little guy by hooking it up to Peter Morris's basic frame. Clean and Clear and under control.

Female Siamese Fighter. A couple of months ago she was really sick - all her fins and most of her tail were missing. She's recovered well.

one 580 EX with CTB gel to background, second 580 EX with 1/4 CTO gel through white umbrella from right to man.
The seed part makes great bombs and rockets.
The F15E fighter was built for long range strikes and combat. It's speed and maneuverability made it the terror of the sky. equip with powerful rockets it could also carry several bombs.
I did not really base the design on this particular fighter but the F15E seamed to fit the build.
