The walk is forever to come

When the world went on the run

The world brought it's own doom

And led the world to ruin

Foo Fighters - Festival Optimus Alive!2011

Inspired by, but hopefully not copied off of, anything from Battlestar Galactica.

This was a kid who was going through a lot of challenges. I loved the picture, the way she was playing with me. But it was outside on a dark night with a high ISO and it came out grainy (guess you're supposed to call it noise, since it's digital) anyway, I played with it some in photoshop and came out with an image that I think is absolutely epic. Kids deal with so much these days, broken families, drugs and alcohol, eating disorders, depression, peer pressure, school stress, job stress, relationship stress, you name it- I think that this picture really says a lot. Ready to fight, but vulnerable behind the front. I love this picture almost as much as I love the kid in it.

TB fighter by Forgeworld.

The model was painted in ice 'camo' befitting the style and narrative of the WH40K universe.

I have to say this is one of the most enjoyable models I have ever painted, tons of detail yet very easy going.

Please enjoy, comments welcome!

Lately, I've felt like I just have to continue being strong and fighting on. I haven't had a break from life in so long, and every day is a battle in its own way.

From the 84th Fighter Squadron, 78th Fighter Group, 8th Air Force.

it's my fighter plane, inspired of the Mirage 2000

Custom Airbrushed Orange WW2 Fighter Pilot Style Helmet

The biggest challenge was lighting and fighter's fast movement. I couldn't get him without flash fired.

On the 10th May 1944, the Lockheed Lightning crashed in cloud whilst flying from Goxhill on a training flight .

In 'Dark Peak Wrecks' Collier quotes an eyewitness account from a farmer who says he saw the lightning heading toward the moor with thick black smoke pouring from an engine when it suddenly blew up , the wreckage falling to the moor .

I can find nothing to substantiate this report on the internet . In The Walkers Guide it says the plane 'struck the hill inverted' ,The farmer could have been mistaken in either the heat of the moment or with the fullness of time .Both accounts could also be correct, of course.

The pilot died in the crash

I just had time to build this little space fighter and thought it would be nice to share it. But I'm not nice enough to take good pictures of it }:-)

This is Alex, she kicks ass, and looks sexy doing it. ^_^

BREMEN FIGHTER via Breeddiep van Europoort naar Rotterdam 24-12-2017

This is how far I've come as of now. I must say I'd almost have preferred working on this pet to returning to school (but that's just almost)

The Wildcat was the primary Navy and Marine Corps fighter during the first 18 months of World War II. Although slower and less maneuverable than the Japanese Zero, the Wildcat was ruggedly built and had more firepower. Gruman designed and built the F4F Wildcat but could not keep up with production demands. This Wildcat is an FM-2 built by General Motors.

This fighter girl came to me after doing a bunch of research for one of books.

It is currently set up to portray the night fighter flown by Free French pilot Yves Mahé when he shot down a German Junkers 88 over York in 1942.

There is a good account of it all here: afheritage.org/free-french-pilot-york-baedeker

Light fighter craft for Daleks, wanted something a bit art deco but with distinct Dalek-like elements.

Forgeworld Thunderbolt Fighter. I painted it inspired by a ME-109 but obviously not the same.

Although not completely original, it's still quite a rare sight to see what looks like a MItsubishi Zero Fighter fly. BANZAI!!! This wasn't part of the flying portion of the airshow and this plane was just on static display. Luckily, we caught it early in the morning flying above us and I was able to quickly switch on the camera and snap this guy.
