For the second day in the row i was lucky enough to hang out with the beautiful julia. today was a make up day since we weren't able to get the shot done yesterday. to my surprised she actually showed up pretty much on time. We headed out to the halloween club to acquire things we would need for the shoot. My idea for the shoot was to have julia pose as a fighter. As i explained this to her i also let her know the type of make up i would like for the shot. Since she is a professional make up artist this was extremely easy for her to pull off. Julia is so gorgeous so it took alot of effort to knock some of the shine off her. I also tried different processing to the shots to get a more gritty unflattering look. Lighting without my second strobe has become increasingly hard. I feel like the sb-600 just does not have the power i need. I wanted some dramatic lighting for these shots. I also need an assistant or one of those boom arms to hold the reflector. Overall im very happy with the shots. At first they just didn't appeal to me. I think it was because they were so different then all the other shots of julia usually come out. Its always fun when julia and i hangout i can't wait to do it again.

This was a WIP forever that was originally intended for Peter's Assymetrical Fighter challange. It was gonna be much wider and much assymetricaller. But the big gun I was gonna add didn't really play out, and I was getting tired of letting it languish, so I sold out and went symmetrical on it. I wanted to use a wider variety of purple parts, but it didn't really flow.
I really like the engine pods, but on the whole the ship is pretty bland from the front.

The canopy has been removed so that you can get a decent look at the aerospace/avionic controls, the head res and back support for the minifig pilot.

This is my virtual LEGO rendition of a Human Fighter from my LEGO Fantasy Adventure World. The fighter is a highly-trained professional combatant who is experienced with various tactical maneuvers and weapons forms.
* As usual, the program I used to build this is LeoCAD. I then converted it to an .ldr file and rendered it with LDView.
