For 2009, Yamaha unleashed the world's first production motorcycle with a crossplane crankshaft. MotoGp technology for the road now means that this 4 cylinder rocket has the torque (and sound) of a big vee twin at low to medium revs, but gets screaming at the higher end of the rev range. The third member of the AM-22 Mauler family of attack spacecraft is at the other end of the spectrum and the lightest variant, the AM-22C. This model dispensed with any space and equipment not absolutely essential to the core design drivers of the Mauler concept to create a spacecraft that packs the punch of the rest of the Mauler family but has the maneuverability and compactness of regular FA and FB class fighter assets. AM-22Cs are most commonly used in supporting dropships and assault craft during planetary landings.

The model was painted in ice 'camo' befitting the style and narrative of the WH40K universe.
I have to say this is one of the most enjoyable models I have ever painted, tons of detail yet very easy going.

Another bit of table dressing/terrain for a landing field Mobile Frame Zero gaming table I've almost finished. I've always liked flying wings and it seems I can't stop building in grey tones, looks a little like it could do with some colour splashes, but couldn't figure out the best place to put them.
Added a new Tie Fighter last week. (on the left). Working sound & light. Minty white. The previous one had turned slightly yellow.
