Ocean Going Tug ...At anchor off the Tyne

MV-18 Manta Viper is a single-seat, single engine light multirole fighter designed for close air support and ground attack. The main design is to create a small visual frame with high manoeuvrability. The wing would be foldable to cater more space within the hangar.

Love this trio ^_^ Like two princes and the princess :)

The bubble canopy of the MD-SparrowHawk offers the pilot maximum visibility in a fire fight. The ship is designed for high maneuverability. It's powered by an ion core reactor which provides its thrust and ion plasma canons.

After barely escaping imperial fleest with the old Z-AV, Kass Mothma realized that he needed more speed and better control, with that in mind he decided to do some modifications to it, to keep it lightweight, the laser canon had been removed and replaced with 4 homing ion missiles and laser turrets, for better control wings were added, and for more speed a much powerful central engine installed along with maneuver assist engines at the end of the wings for a much needed agilty and renamed the fighter T-AG for its shape an agility.

Very little is known about this fighter. It has only been spotted a number of times, and most of the reconnaissance data is reconstructed from debris of those that had the misfortune of running into it.

It's weaponry and propulsion systems are mysterious, it's almost jellyfish like tenticles seem to some how push the ship through space ...

It has been speculated that ship is from the homeworld of the notorious Zoid, the bounty hunter. But he has never been seen piloting one, instead Zoid seems to fly around in a series of seemingly more flamboyantly shaped starfighters.

Playing host to the rescheduled Foo Fighters concert at Wembley (that was cancelled after frontman Dave Grohl broke his leg falling off stage at a show in Gothenburg, Sweden), the National Bowl in Milton Keynes came alive on Sunday, September 6, 2015 with the sound of 65,000 screaming fans. Following sets from rock duo Royal Blood and the eclectic propo-punk icon Iggy Pop, the Foos knew they had to deliver. From the moment the curtain sucked into a black hole vortex to the end of the show, it was obvious it was going to be one hell of a night to remember. Debra, Karl and I had arrived relatively early for the show and, being among the first to enter the MK Bowl, were offered "Inner Pit" passes. Issued on a first-come-first-serve basis, these gave fenced-off access to the stage and were an excellent surprise. We had a great view of the day's action and I was well positioned for photographs. "All My Life" opened the two and a half hour set, with Grohl spending the entire show seated on a most gloriously over-the-top throne, designed by Grohl himself and adorned by guitar necks. It transported the front-man up and down the runway, and was in itself a crowd pleaser! I have wanted to see the Foo Fighters for about two decades - and desperate to do so since "Wasting Light"- and they did not disappoint. A shredding version of "White Limo" alone justified the ticket price, and the rest was a wonderful (and sometimes nostalgic) tour through their back-catalogue. All in all, it was a triumphant, heart-warming singalong set that showed why, for so many, the Foo Fighters have been the soundtrack to the last two decades. Here's the Foo Fighters' set list for the Milton Keynes "Broken Leg" concert.

If I was desperate to see the Foo Fighters, I was absolutely aching to see 69 year old rock legend, Iggy Pop. I narrowly missed one of his gigs in Amsterdam at the end of 1978 and, after this initial disappointment, Iggy stayed on my Bucket List through the late-80's in London, the 90's in Prague and the naughties in the UK. When he was in town, I was always travelling, had other commitments or just had bad luck (i.e. the cancellation of the Foo's concert at Wembley in June where Iggy was on the supporting bill). Well, I finally got to see James Newell Osterberg, Jr. in full, topless, action in Milton Keynes on a fine evening in September 2015! Iggy brought his old school punk snarl to the party, prompting mass singalongs to classic tunes, some of which he penned with his old mate David Bowie in Berlin in the 70's. If I'm still as active as Iggy when I'm almost 70, I'll be more than happy! He made fine use of the runway before him, skipping, kicking, twisting and turning as only Iggy can. He took a breather every now and then, but Iggy still has more energy than any new breed act you care to mention. Fucking hell - he's the man that wrote "Lust for Life"! The snot-noses in the audience didn't know what hit them :-) FYI, here's the Iggy Pop's set list for the night.

A wonderful, sunny day and balmy evening with my family, and a fine way to celebrate the 32nd anniversary of my first date with my future-wife on September 7, 1983.

Notice the nose are on these F-15's. The Oregon Air National Guard's Cities of Honor program was started in 2007, during the 60th Anniversary commemoration of the United States Air Force. In all, 21 fighter jets at the Portland Air Base honor cities throughout Oregon and Washington. Cities include; Astoria, Beaverton, Bend, Corvallis, Gresham, Hillsboro, Hood River, Lake Oswego, McMinnville, Newberg, Pendleton, Portland, Salem, Tigard, Tillamook, West Linn, Wilsonville, Woodburn, Vancouver and Battle Ground, Wash.

The artwork has been specially created for each jet, including the name of each of these cities, honoring the relationship between the local communities and the Citizen-Airmen who reside there.

The 142nd Fighter Wing, also known as the Redhawks, serves as part of Air Combat Command and the North American Air Defense System. The unit provides around-the-clock aerospace control alert for the Pacific Northwest airspace and coastal waters from northern California to the Canadian border using F-15 aircraft.

To All My Flickr Friends:

My sincere apologies for missing in action for so long in Flickr.

I'm sorry for not returning the favor for your wonderful comments or late in replying your message.

And to those who had messaged me to inquire about my welfare, my sincere thanks for your concern.

Am way too busy recently for Flickr & blogging too.

Been packing, moving home, unpacking, tidy up & settling down.

Also got a new job with new tasks to learn during those period.

At the same time, I'd done many modeling events & training/rehearses for up-coming shows.

Had taken many pics, but no time to edit & upload to Flickr.

Currently, I'm still not up to pace online yet.

Please pardon me if I'm somewhat slowly in responding.

Hopefully, I will continue the action in Flickr soon.

Thank you for your patience, dear friends.

Wikipedia: The Lockheed Martin–Boeing F-22 Raptor is an American twin-engine, jet-powered, all-weather, supersonic stealth fighter aircraft. As a product of the United States Air Force's Advanced Tactical Fighter (ATF) program, the aircraft was designed as an air superiority fighter, but also incorporates ground attack, electronic warfare, and signals intelligence capabilities. The prime contractor, Lockheed Martin, built most of the F-22 airframe and weapons systems and conducted final assembly, while program partner Boeing provided the wings, aft fuselage, avionics integration, and training systems.
