"This ADU fighter is built for speed while being armed with simple but deadly missile and laser weaponry. This makes it ideal for high speed pursuit and elimination of UFOs."
A couple of years ago, almost immediately after disassembling my 7067: Jet Copter Encounter set, I started to build a fighter using the pieces from the set. However I never really got to finish the model until now. Fortunately I'm very happy with the result, and glad I kept it until I was finally able to complete it.
As always I've taken great care to make it robust and it is highly swooshable. In terms of play-feature it includes retractable landing gear, two concealed spring loaded shooters operated from above as well as two top-mounted stud shooters.
If you find anything you like/dislike in particular, please don't hesitate to share your thoughts so I can learn from it and improve myself :-)
This bizzare starship was concieved by blacktron scientists surveying a distant planet, who based the ship design on an ancient relic they found. One pilot, one dedicated gunner at the rear. 1 small anti-missle turret, and 1 large anti-fighter turret.
This little fighter is the standard fighter for the American space fleet. They are meant for space combat only because the process of reentry would rip the ship apart. They are launched from a large capital ship or carrier. It uses almost the same rocket motors as the larger exploration shuttles. This gives it extraordinary speed. It gets it's electric power from three adjustable solar panels. It also had two twin-barreled machine guns as it's primary weapon and it can also carry large nukes as a secondary weapon.
I had never heard of Shiptember before, likely because I haven't been a part of many LEGO Communities until this year. I don't currently have the parts to create a proper SHIP, but here is my first futuristic fighter attempt in a while.
I present, the Wasp! I don't particularly like the name, so any new suggestions would be appreciated! I was inspired by the Corporate Alliance Tank Droid set to create a rounded looking fighter. I'm not completely happy with it, and it has many areas for improvement.
Comments and suggestions welcome!
Saw The Devil in the Detail's take some shots from here the other day which reminded me of some the shots I'd taken but never posted. Never been happy with it but thought I'd stick it on away. Might as well make the most of my flickr subscription.

I've spend a lot of time processing this photo... and in the end something like that came out. I didn't have idea for today so had to do something random hehe :D Love my shoes here, they are so awesome... but too high to walk in them ;P
Thank you all for your comments and favs on my latest photos, I'm slowly catching up with your streams <3
Hey look! I'm back!
Sorta. Have had an insanely busy summer preparing for college and working on various things, including the book (which will be pushed back because I am going to try to get it published).
But this came to me rapidly once I got home for a few days, and although not my best work I thought I should share it. I'm still very much working on my previous WIP redesign of the SERAPH, but as an interim piece I thought I would toss something quick out.
So, this is the orbit fighter 'CAIRO.' Presumably it's some sort of heavy fighter/long range artillery weapon with advanced mobility. Weapons are a railgun and basic point-defense gear.
This is Part 2 of a -homework- assignment given to me by my friend Vasha. Also a fashion post! \o/
