My favorite park "Hitachinaka Sea-side park" in Ibaraki, Japan. This hill is turning red with "Kochia (Bassia scoparia)" in Autumn. It is also famous for its baby blue-eyes flowers "Nemophila" in April!

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly.

As we were driving, I made my husband stop and turn the car around so I could photograph this beautiful field of sunflowers.
As each spring approaches its full bloom, fields start dazzling with red hot chilly poppies basking under the sun. It is no rare occasion that numerous travelers stop for a moment to take a few snapshots or simply enjoy the sights. After all, when nature decides to sprout abundance of different color shade midst all that spectacular greenery - it must be one eye-catching vista at least!

Photo selected for Nikon Photo Contest Calendar 2020 after particilating in the Nikon Photo Contest 2019.
This photo was taken during a short drive trip to a place for photo shooting. This tree drew my attention for its majestic presence in the field. I looked at it an after a few seconds I stoped the car and walked back to take some pictures of it. This one was the least liked to me after first examination but after some months became a favorite. It was submitted in the International Nikon Photo Contest 2019 with 9 more photos of mine and won me a place and participation in the Nikon Photo Contest Calendar 2020.
I would like to Thank the Nikon Photo Contest judges for the great honour I have for my work being selected in the Nikon Photo Contest Calendar 2020.
The rice fields in September.Cina. September / October 2018.
From Wikipedia
Lóngjǐ are located in Longsheng County, about 100 kilometres from Guilin, Guangxi, China.
The terraced fields are built along the slope winding from the riverside up to the mountain top, between 600 to 800 metres (2,000 to 2,600 ft) above sea level.[1] A coiling terrace line that starts from the mountain foot up to the mountain top divides the mountain into layers of water in spring, layers of green rice shoots in summer, layers of rice in fall, and layers of frost in winter. The terraced fields were mostly built about 650 years ago.
Longji (Dragon's Backbone) Terraced Rice Fields received their name because the rice terraces resemble a dragon's scales, while the summit of the mountain range looks like the backbone of the dragon.
In early June, water is pumped over the rice paddies and young plants are transferred to the main terraces.

Caught this one from the side of the road, on the way back from Georgian Bay, on the way to Toronto.
Wildflowers cover one of the valleys at Carrizo Plain National Monument.
While visiting the park, I followed a small side road to the very end. The road eventually ended where the rain had formed some deep gullies and it was no longer passable by car. I hiked in another 45 minutes by foot and was surprised to see several valleys completely covered in wildflowers. It was quite amazing, almost like being in an alternate reality. Amazingly beautiful landscape.
My only concern was being bitten by a rattlesnake while walking through the tall grass as there was no cell phone coverage and my car was a few miles away.
Kaycee and I went to help Nate haul hay the other day, I was happy to find this old guy in the field.
This is the technique used on fields criss crossed by drainage canals/ditches. A common sight on the small farms that dot North Carolina. Thanks for looking and have a DRY weekend.
So for the first time in ages i got to get out with my Camera . I went to get a sunset shot, but the sun was not setting where i wanted , but it did hit the front of Ducketts Grove which made it look even more spectacular ..
Found this large hay field near Brighton, Colorado. Just out of view was a large combine machine, modern looking, had large lights on it and still working after twilight. It was probably the machine that created these lines and bales.

And it's not a beer!
This is my photo, but I totally 'borrowed' the processing inspiration from Tom Baker. His photo is still far better than mine, but I decided to post this anyway as it was the one that I really wanted to turn out!
Thanks Tom!
