I unearthed some shots from my solo camp near Barron Creek in 2011. The vegetation there is of the riotous mesozoic remnant rainforest type, which is not hard to like.

These terraced paddy rice fields are high up on slopes of Longji, they have just turned golden yellow and are awaiting harvest. They belong to the tribe Ping'an Zhuang.

A field of red poppies in deepest Lincolnshire in May 2020. There'll be many more red fields during the next month or so across the UK.
