Part of the stuff I get to take back to my classroom. I have thousands of marbles for a behavior system I do with my students. I've been purging my house of all the stuff I need to take back to school with me next month and hallelujah, I found my marbles.

the tactor working the field producing the dusty residue as it truddles along. I tried to get closer to use a shorter lens, however the was not possible.

Crowd of cows gathered to take a sunset photo in the Flint Hills of Kansas.

I wasn't sure if this was an Amish or Mennonite gang because of the truck but most likely is. What really caught my eye was the landscape layers and colors.

Across the fields towards Coppet Hall Beach, Saundersfoot

Toward the end of the day, the sun shone brightly across the tops of the vines. This effect gave rise to this image as the clouds danced about the sky. My daughter however sees this as more like that of a volcano due to the shape of the mountain.

 

Either way, the owner came out and we talked about this glorious field of dreams for a good half hour. Much to my surprise he added that few if any have ever asked to photograph the vines. He told me of his own experiences given different seasons and the amazing visuals to be had.

 

Such a cool place, and if you are tuning in today Jock, this is very close to the cabin and just down the highway. Great place to spend an afternoon taste testing the local vintage.

 

The poppy shows a wild and fragile flower, resistant and singular, which no one has ever planted and whose flame runs through the fields like a message.
