Time to post a quieter, more restful image. I took this image as a result of a detour around some local lanes in Ropsley, just to the east of Grantham in Lincolnshire. I had been travelling back to Nottingham having visted my mother in Spalding. I wouldn't normally travel so far to a location such as this, so I used the opportunity for a landscape image.

Sie sind Landschaftsarchitekten/designer und Therapeuten zugleich. Wem wird nicht warm ums Herz, wenn er durch die Lande zieht und diese schönen, prächtigen Farben, Strukturen, Muster und Formen sieht!

Stormy clouds threaten late spring rain in Central Victoria.....the promise of rain was not fullfilled but for a few drops.

The change in colors is quite amazing and the white seeds on the Rosebay Willowherb are quite phenomenal in how artistic they are in their looks 😊
Taken at Arne, Picture had very little adjustments done to it and no filters used at the time, I exposed for the sky to get as much detail as possible for when I processed the RAW file. Processed the RAW file by correctly re-adjusting the exposure and applying grad filter over the sky and small amount of sharpening.

quella vita che un po' tutti diamo per scontata perchè abituati a girare ad un tot di velocità, a essere capaci di fare tante cose, ad avere l'assurda certezza che a noi non capiterà....
beh, tutte queste certezze sono una serie di boiate che ci raccontiamo per vivere ignari delle mille cose che ci perdiamo non prendendoci sul serio...
ogni attimo è unico e irripetibile se gli viene dato il giusto peso...
un peso specifico, non troppo grosso e non troppo leggero... un peso "colorato" di emozione diciamo, sarebbe ottimo.

/ Mount Tom in Sierra Nevada and cottonwood trees in autumn at Round Valley near Bishop, California.
I was torn whether to process this shot in color or black and white. The sky was very colorful, but I really liked the way the trees look in silhouette and how the light catches some of the grass in B&W. The clouds still looked fantastic, so I went with B&W. Regardless, this was taken near Farrar, Iowa at the intersection of NW 134th Ave and NE 96th Street at dawn. I was going somewhere else to catch a sunrise, but stopped here when I realized this would make a lovely early morning scene.
