On Wednesday, July 25th, it was already as hot as yet (max 33.6°C) and so I'm just drove with dog Kátya in car to the parking lot at "Römerturm" (rebuilt roman tower) and there walk a short round in the field. At the height up there was a nice breeze and later I sat in my favorite spot in the shade and Kátya was able to let off steam.

The extremely rainy September and the early October snowstorm (over 2' in some spots), has left farmlands flooded and crops under water. This is the Plum River, which is normally around 2' wide. Manitoba. It's pretty though.

This structure overlooks a large, pool size water feature with fountains and gardens that surround it...

This daffodil field sits close to my home, I love how it brightens the landscape once a year.

What could be prettier than a classic red barn with a vintage truck beside it and surrounded by green fields?

Always waiting for the sky, it's my main motive. Then I queried and I fill all the cards. Interesting days are about 4 times a year.

Dear Flickr friends, I'm on a road trip and mostly offline. Thank you for your faves and comments!!

A monsoon storm begins to get stronger outside of Elfrida, AZ.

I was torn whether to process this shot in color or black and white. The sky was very colorful, but I really liked the way the trees look in silhouette and how the light catches some of the grass in B&W. The clouds still looked fantastic, so I went with B&W. Regardless, this was taken near Farrar, Iowa at the intersection of NW 134th Ave and NE 96th Street at dawn. I was going somewhere else to catch a sunrise, but stopped here when I realized this would make a lovely early morning scene.

The change in colors is quite amazing and the white seeds on the Rosebay Willowherb are quite phenomenal in how artistic they are in their looks 😊
