You know when you run out of time in the day because of your lack of planning ahead, laziness, getting distracted and also, of course, loads of work...

you end up staying on your computer til 6:19am doing something you could've done at a better time of hour... but oh well.

this is me, fiddling with some new aperture settings and photoshop techniques.

For a long time I had this tree inside the house. When I decided the tree needed more sun and fresh air I took it to the back yard and it started recuperating. Left it in the back yard in the planter for about two years and now I decided to put it in the ground. Found a spot in front of Monroe Avenue and looks a lot happier.

The display board's on the left, control board on the right. In the middle, over 50 little wires connecting them together

Harry Bear, playing a stump fiddle. This was quite entertaining, especially when he started jumping up and down with this thing to the beat of Polish Polka music.

North Atlantic Fiddle Convention (NAFCo) (free event), www.northatlanticfiddle.com/.

Country: United States (Canadian resident).. Style: Traditional Scottish Folk & other styles.

Lineup: Alasdair Fraser (fiddle), Natalie Haas (cello) and guest: Galen Fraser (fiddle).

Alasdair Fraser and Natalie Haas are regulars at NAFCo (I saw them during my previous visit in 2006). I took photos of their duo in London four years ago (www.flickr.com/photos/kmlivemusic/albums/72157649291735319/), plus each of them, at this festival and elsewhere, with other lineups (www.flickr.com/photos/kmlivemusic/tags/alasdairfraser,-al..., www.flickr.com/photos/kmlivemusic/tags/nataliehaas,-alasd...). They were joined during their set by Fraser's son, Galen, whose Atlantic Folk Trio played before them (www.flickr.com/photos/kmlivemusic/albums/72157698359110022/).

This file belongs to a group of 3 months worth of photographs lost when an old pc crashed - it really pays to back up your files!

Using Recuva, a free downloadable program, I managed to retrieve a few at least of the lost files.
