This very retro and very awesome diner appeared to still be in business but I guess was closed for the holiday.
One half of the amazing Scottish Band Blazin' Fiddles. I first saw them several years ago at Fountains Abbey but they just keep getting better!
Sierra Hull joined the group for "I've got your heart in my hand and I'm gunna squeeze." This diptych shows the band's attention on their fiddle player, Christian as he flawlessly tore out a solo.
These guys put on such a great show. Their songs are somehow classic and unique at the same time, instantly likable, much like the band and its members. If you ever get the chance, go see The Farewell Drifters

A night to bring your dancin' shoes! There's goin' to be a whole lot of shakin' goin' on in the Tennis Club on Saturday night. Chris Meehan and his Redneck Friends is a band that embraces country music in all its many forms.
Later this year, the band will feature at a number of leading festivals throughout the country, such as the Cork Folk Festival and Sligo Live. Now on release is their new album "Dancing in the Kitchen", produced by legendary Nashville producer Jim Rooney, who unfortunately cannot be here in Ranelagh with Chris and the band.

Misericòrdies del cadirat de la catedral de Barcelona. També poso part del llibre fenomenal L'art gòtic a Catalunya - escultura II . Malauradament l'autor sembla poc entés amb els instruments medievals, i vaig trobar aquest llibre després de la meva visita a la catedral, doncs no puc fer les relacions exactes entre les meves fotos i l'esquema adjunt.
Aquest llibre menciona diferents autors per aquest cadirat, pero sembla que totes les misericòrdies foren fetes entre 1394 i 1399 per (o amb supervisió de) Pere Anglada.

Misericords from the Barcelona choir stalls. I add an extract from the book L'art gòtic a Catalunya - escultura II , but unfortunately the author seemed to be very unfamiliar with musical instruments, and as I found this book after visiting the cathedral, I cannot make out which is which...
In this book various artists are mentioned for these misericords, but it seems that the were all made between 1394 and 1399 by or under supervison of Pere Anglada.
And yes, I will have to go back with a better zoom... unfortunately one is not allowed to go up in the choir stalls, so pictures were taken from rather far and with bad light.
Bow Fiddle Rock, a large rock about 50 feet high just off the coast. The quartzite structure has a large sea arch, which somewhat resembles the bow of a fiddle.
Latest job rewire the fiddle yard. Fit a DCC Concepts point unit to control the surface mounted point motors.

Lies had a wonderful session with the Kennedy Girls that I could not decide which one to post. Hence posting most of them.

Note:
The Kennedy Girls are Mouse's first litter. Their mom is Lotje - sister to Tinkerbell and daughter to Luna. They are named after Kennedy "Staff Members" because they were born on the day their Gotfather Kennedy - our ginger neuter - died. We hope that they will be able to keep his memory alive.
A nice touch is that they all have a red streak in their fur as if a hint of Kennedy has been passed on to them.
