Sunday found us once again in El Valle. This week with with friends Ursula & Dieter we were on a plant buying mission.
But first a nice lunch and a visit to the farmers market for fresh produce. It was there that I captured this man playing a sad soulful tune of his violin. Notice his improvised bow.

Fiddle player James Rogers performs outdoors in Inuvik, NWT, Canada in August of 2012. The Our Lady of Victory Church, often called the Igloo Church, looms in the background. Sadly James passed away in October of 2016.
