Most people have seen the Wawa Goose and Big Nickel in Ontario. This stop was to see the Sydney Fiddle. At 60 feet tall and ten tons of steel, it's quite the instrument. I'm not speaking of the Sydney Opera House, but rather Sydney, Nova Scotia.

Fiddle Me Silly album launch in Tomney's Bar, The Moy

This very retro and very awesome diner appeared to still be in business but I guess was closed for the holiday.

Bow Fiddle Rock, Portknockie

A small Fiddle Jamboree just north of Calgary, had lots of fun and enjoyed lots of great music...

One half of the amazing Scottish Band Blazin' Fiddles. I first saw them several years ago at Fountains Abbey but they just keep getting better!

Sierra Hull joined the group for "I've got your heart in my hand and I'm gunna squeeze." This diptych shows the band's attention on their fiddle player, Christian as he flawlessly tore out a solo.

These guys put on such a great show. Their songs are somehow classic and unique at the same time, instantly likable, much like the band and its members. If you ever get the chance, go see The Farewell Drifters

This show was September 16th at Knuckleheads Gospel Lounge (aka Makeout Room) in Kansas City, MO
