Such lovely light, but a mixed blessing...photographer's shadow nearly everywhere it shone, and no handy trees to hide behind to photograph the mountain without some damn fool's shadow getting into the shot!

Nearly every morning this is where you can find Buffy, the rodent slayer. This cat is an amazing hunter.

The neighbourhood cats began to reappear today when the weather warmed up to around freezing. A young black cat was waiting farther along the fence. Perhaps someone had called a meeting? February 2, 2011
