today i went to the shops, after stayin home for couple of weeks.

Ive been busy with photos and Flickr! *n now have 'THE' Pro account *grins*

 

on the way home from the shops, i somehow.. accidentally.. took 60+ photos! *bwaahaha*

..singlehandly though! Meaning.. one hand held two bags of groceries.. and the other hand, my camera.

At NO time did i put the grocery bags down :P~

In many areas of Costa Rica the fence wire is strung between these living fenceposts. Farmers can cut saplings of these trees and just shove them in the ground where they will root to produce a living post. In this humid environment it makes sense since I would expect ordinary posts to rot quickly.

I came across this random fence out in the park by my house...I loved taking shots in black in white because of the wood's splintery grain having a nice contrast.

It was rather atmospheric walking by this in the morning fog.

The remnants of a fire at Tomfat Woods

Can anyone id? On a threatened site in Strathspey, Scotland. Appears to have 5 free segments in the foot ( ie one more than Macadam & Bennett state is found in siphlonurid mayflies).
