I'm hungry mom!!

 

They are really sweet to look at, the babies are all shivering and mom and dad are so eager to feed them

Poppa returns to feed one of his two young Silvereye fledglings who are eagerly awaiting breakfast; Jerrabomberra Wetlands, ACT.

Blacky feeding his youngster while the other two were in the bath. Maybe his final set of youngsters this year. This was their third nest they have successfully reared three.

After first set of fledglings were killed by a Neighbours cat they then nested next door and successfully reared two from the second nest before this third set

Feeding a good friend of mine. Taken at Lake Alexandra in Mittagong, which is just down the road from my house.

A new arrival in our garden this morning - a baby blackbird in its usual state of never ending hunger, keeping the parents very busy.

 

A quick grab shot through the lounge window and taken in a very shady area of the front garden, hence the grain and ultra high ISO.

The Indian Palm Squirrel having its food from a Banana Plant

Feeding my poorly Buff Tailed Bee it couldn't fly. I found it on my drive. I picked it up and put it on my windowsill in the sun and fed it with sugar and water. It recovered after half an hour and flew away.

I have to commend the Mother Starling. She must have a lot of stamina. Her babies are extremely aggressive feeders.

A mix of gulls rushing to feed on a school of fish passing by. That was a return after 10 years and it turned out to be an even better spot. It is still not busy by beachcombers and dog walkers. Heaven for the birds. Hope this location will stay like this for a very long time. One of the several reasons why I never give location.

Here is one from a few weeks ago, again at RSPB Old Moor this time on Tree Sparrow Farm.

 

Goldfinches love to pick the seeds from between the crevices in the Teasel.

A pair of baby Cedar Waxwings sit in a tree waiting to be feeding hiding from view. We were fortunate to spot them.
