In the heart of Faizabad, this woman-run dairy has embraced renewable energy with open arms, showcasing the powerful transition to solar power through AVCP's support. The installation of 13 solar panels, an 8 kW inverter, and 8 batteries illuminates a path towards self-reliance, sustainability, and increased production capabilities. This solar power generating system not only signifies a leap towards overcoming electricity challenges but also embodies the strength and resilience of Afghan women in business. Under the sun's nurturing glow, Rah-e-Abrishom Dairy is set to expand its operations, with a projected 17% increase in annual sales by the end of 2024. Through this lens, we witness the transformative power of sustainable energy in fostering economic growth, empowering women entrepreneurs, and ensuring food security in Afghanistan.

The St Marys museum wondered if there was a connection with windmills for Carter and Isaac. Was he promoting the sale of windmills as he took his pictures? His photography was only done in the nice weather of summer and fall, so how did Carter support himself for the rest of the year. The barn of 1006 has a windmill, but I can’t tell if it is attached to the barn or free-standing.

Pink lacks a specific electromagnetic wavelength, while grey poses a limitation due to its representation of only intensity—a blend of light and dark without spectral specificity. Imaging techniques reliant on spectral variation produce identical results for greyscale images unless non-visible data is present. Deviations from this uniformity may indicate errors, misinterpretations, or unknown phenomena.
Contention persists over analytical debates, including dismissible claims like Van Allen belt dangers and contested evidence of lunar mirrors. The precision of laser reflections targeting a moving 3x3-foot marker on the Moon highlights technical skill but often fails to resolve skepticism. For instance, a 0.1° shift moves a laser spot 670 km across the Moon's surface.
Forensic analysis (2022, 2023) of Apollo 11–17 photographs assessed authenticity claims. Images of humans in space, Earth, and the Moon's distant views were validated, but Moon landing visuals showed variations, suggesting diverse techniques may have replicated certain elements.
PEMi (Photoelectromagnetic Image) software enhances forensic analysis by differentiating natural and artificial light sources, revealing hidden features. Each PEMi-ID links to original sources, ensuring traceability and comparison.

Paula Turmina (b. 1991) is a Brazilian multidisciplinary artist, living and working in London. Her art envisions a post-apocalyptic world where figures blend into nature, exploring humanity’s connection to the land.
4me4you recently enjoyed a visit to Unit London Gallery, where a group exhibition titled "The Three Graces" was on display.
In Greek mythology, the Charites, also known as the Graces, embodied ideals of femininity, fertility, virtue, generosity, joy, and creativity. Traditionally, three of these goddesses are mentioned: Euphrosyne (joy), Aglaia (beauty), and Thalia (festivity). Believed to be the daughters of Zeus, they frequently accompanied Aphrodite, the goddess of love. Throughout art history, these three iconic figures have inspired numerous depictions, spanning from ancient times to the contemporary era. There symbolism resonates with universal aspects of human experience, such as the pursuit of happiness, admiration for beauty, our connection to nature, and the significance of creative expression. To honour Women’s History Month and the onset of spring, Unit London Gallery curated a modern reinterpretation of this timeless mythological theme in a new group exhibition titled "The Three Graces."
4me4you features ‘Masquerade’.
Artist: Lee Gihun
4me4you recently visited Stolen Space Gallery, where the striking works of artist Lee Gihun were on display in his solo exhibition Masquerade. Through large-scale paintings, Lee Gihun invites viewers into a fantastical world that is at once magical and cynical, blending both melancholic and playful qualities in everyday scenes that are familiar yet unsettling. The exhibition offers a reflection on humanity’s relationship with nature, the fragile balance of life, and the challenges of a rapidly changing world.
In Masquerade, Gihun’s childlike, masked characters occupy a muted and desolate world—one marked by clouded skies, jagged mountains, and the remnants of human civilisation. Rendered only in red, these characters stand out as the last living beings in a world teetering on the edge of extinction. Their presence evokes both a sense of loss and an urgent call for hope, as they prepare for an uncertain future in a world that seems to be on the brink of collapse.
At the heart of Lee Gihun's work is a critique of the Western dualistic worldview that separates spirit from matter, fostering a sense of detachment from nature. This disconnection, he argues, has led humanity to see itself as separate from the natural world, a self-centered perspective that threatens the ecological balance of life. Drawing parallels to the biblical story of Noah, Gihun presents his masked figures as both a symbol of resilience and a beacon of hope. As humanity faces existential threats like climate change, the masked characters in his paintings serve as a reminder that survival requires both introspection and collective action.
Lee Gihun's unique artistic approach further deepens the meaning of his work. Combining acrylic and oil stick, he first establishes flat shapes with acrylic paint, then uses oil stick to build texture and depth. His use of recycled materials—such as silk wallpaper remnants commonly found in Korean homes and discarded school supplies—adds another layer of significance. This eco-conscious approach not only reflects the artist’s personal values but also invites viewers to look beyond the surface of his fantastical imagery and reflect on the fragile nature of life in our contemporary world.
A former illustrator of children's books, Lee Gihun has garnered recognition for his innovative approach to art, receiving prestigious awards such as the Children's Jury Award at the Bratislava Illustration Biennale and the Illustrator of the Year Award at the Bologna Book Fair. His work has recently been featured at the Gothenburg Book Fair and the Bologna Children’s Book Fair, gaining a significant following on social media. Now, from his studio in Korea, Gihun continues to explore the boundary between fantasy and reality, addressing ongoing concerns about anxiety, empathy, and our collective future.
