Outdoor Garden Water Feature Fountain - Features / Fountains

Garden fountains are beautiful outdoor water accents. Outdoor fountains are used in public parks, gardens, yards, patios and decks. The most traditional design is a tiered waterfall with multiple levels where the water cascades down many levels of stone. A garden fountain is very dramatic and has a high degree of water noise and motion due to the water becoming airborne and crashing into the lower level pool below. The water finds it's way into the pool at the bottom and is taken back to the top again by a powerful water pump to begin it's journey anew. Some famous artists and sculptors have created garden water features which add life and elegance to their sculptures. Today craftsmen and increased knowledge have made available garden fountains for private residences.

Indoor Wall Water Fountain Feature - Features / Fountains

Add ambiance to any room with beautiful indoor wall fountains. We currently have many styles to choose from in a wide variety of frame materials and waterfall face choices. Our skilled artesians are adept at metal fabrication. The metals available for the frames on your water wall have been chosen for attractiveness, durability and ease of fabrication. The most common metals used are copper and stainless steel. The unique marbled or patina finish is applied to the copper of the indoor wall sculptures one piece at a time. A clear coating is then applied to the metal to give it a high gloss finish as well as to protect the copper from naturally developing a green patina over time. On some of our most recent water wall models we will even go further and apply custom artwork or custom patina shading to the metal making your wall sculpture a true piece of unique art.

Historic Giffen Alumni Memorial Building on the campus of the old Knoxville College in Knoxville, Tennessee. The building was constructed in 1929 and altered in 1955. It features a gymnasium and one-story addition on the front. The Giffen Alumni Memorial Building has housed offices, classrooms, and the gymnasium. Also known as the Giffen Memorial Gymnasium.

McMillan College was listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) in 1980 as a contributing resource to the Knoxville College Historic District (NRIS District No. 80003841).

Knoxville College is a private historically black college (HBCU). It was founded in 1875 as part of the missionary effort of the United Presbyterian Church of North America. Between 1902 and 1912, the State of Tennessee financially supported the college until Tennessee Agricultural and Industrial College (now Tennessee State) was established in Nashville. Knoxville College students were active in the civil rights movement in Knoxville during the 1960s. The school gained accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools but lost its accreditation in 1997, accelerating a decline in enrollment and compounding its financial troubles. Many campus buildings were soon abandoned. Classes have not been held on campus since 2017. Efforts have continued to be made to regain accreditation and return the school to financial stability but the school now only offers classes online.

Knox Heritage has listed Knoxville College on its Fragile Fifteen List of Endangered Historic Buildings and Places multiple times.

Meath, Ireland on Easter Sunday March 27th 2016 at 11:30. This road race also features the Meath 10KM Road Race Championships which is open to entry from any athlete who is a full member of a Meath AAI club. The race starts and finishes in the village of Kildalkey and follows a right handed rural route out towards Rathcormick, Ballivor and Moyrath before returning on the same 2KM as the start which runners will easily remember as a long straight stretch of road. The route brings the runners through beautiful Meath Countryside on low-traffic country roads. The conditions were not very suitable for road running with a very stiff breeze and cold dry conditions. The 10KM version of this race replaced the traditional annual 5 Mile road race which was promoted by the Fr. Murphy athletic club and was held previous in Athboy on St. Patrick's Day, then Ballivor before a move to Kildalkey on Easter Sundays. There was approximately 150 participants in the race with a very large support from athletics clubs in Meath.

I ran in the race - but my photograph doesn't appear here in your Flickr set! What gives?

As mentioned above we take these photographs as a hobby and as a voluntary contribution to the running community in Ireland. Very often we have actually ran in the same race and then switched to photographer mode after we finished the race. Consequently, we feel that we have no obligations to capture a photograph of every participant in the race. However, we do try our very best to capture as many participants as possible. But this is sometimes not possible for a variety of reasons:

►Weather or lighting conditions meant that we had some photographs with blurry content which we did not upload to our Flickr set

►There were too many people - some races attract thousands of participants and as amateur photographs we cannot hope to capture photographs of everyone

►We simply missed you - sorry about that - we did our best!

You can email us petermooney78 AT gmail DOT com to enquire if we have a photograph of you which didn't make the final Flickr selection for the race. And from the landmark First Avenue and 7th Street Entry, to the Dakota Jazz Club, to the Minnesota Orchestra, you can find live music every night of the week.

As the third-largest theater market in the country, Minneapolis is second only to New York City in live theater per capita. Whether taking in a dramatic performance at the renowned Guthrie Theater or enjoying a night of laughs at The Brave New Workshop, the longest running improvisation theater in the country, there’s a show for every taste in Minneapolis.

If you’re looking for outdoor recreation, you will enjoy the Grand Rounds park system, a 50-mile network of landscaped parkways that stretches from Minnehaha Park, around the chain of lakes, and up into Northeast Minneapolis. This abundance of parks and bodies of water allows for year-around recreational opportunities including sailing, swimming, running, canoeing, biking, skating, cross-country skiing, and more.

Indoor Tabletop Water Fountain Feature - Fountains / Features

A tabletop fountain is a great home accent and they will bring a sense of serenity to your indoor space. The water and natural elements bring a little bit of nature indoors. Our indoor tabletop fountains are made with hand thrown ceramic, copper, stainless steel and natural elements such as slate, gemstones, crystals and bamboo. The features made of semi precious stones often include a rotating object on the fountain such as a crystal sphere which rotates using water pressure, bringing movement to the table fountain which is both interesting and soothing to watch. Table fountains are ideal accents for small rooms and office desks where space is a concern. They easily fit into small spaces such as the corner of a desk, a bedroom table, mantle, around door entryways and coffee tables.

Day In Your Life 006, features my very good and long time friend Benson Chou. I met Benson through High School when he first came here in the United States. I can't really recall, but I believe I was one of the very first people he knew. Many years later, he now has his own empire and a growing successful clothing brand, The Imginary Zebra also known as T.I.Z.

For the most part, his weapon of choice is a pencil and eraser. The rest is what he visions through his head. Through out the day, most of the time was spent either working on designs and coming with constant new ideas. When I first arrived to his place, Benson was already working on a project that's based on cube craft. He wanted a much taller and bigger version of it which I have yet to see. I was just trying to indulge his place as much as possible because theres so much to see. Most of the time he's on the computer brain storming or working on new ideas for his clothing brand. Passion for his clothing brand keeps him motivatied and humble for what he does. Innovative, unique and creative are just a few words to simply describe Benson. From the wise words of Benson, "When you dream, don't just dream, dream like you mean it."

The geothermal features of Yellowstone, it's geysers and the fact that the Earth is literally gurgling, bubbling and sounds like it's ready to explode made this one of the most interesting stops on our trip.

Pictured is Old Faithful Geyser. It shoots approximately 14,000 to 32,000 litres of boiling water to a heights of approximately 32 to 56 metres high every 90 minutes, or so.

I am creating an art float with friends and neighbors for this year’s Mill Valley Memorial Day Parade.

Our float for this parade features the Bamboodu Theater, a mobile puppet stage I created for civic events and art shows. Our first show stars Lady Liberty and Mr. Trump. As music plays, a Mr. Trump’s recent tweets and alternative facts appear on a news ticker. Each time Trump says something wrong, Liberty hits him on his thick, bobbing head.

As we march, we will invite parade watchers to sing along the inspiring poem by Emma Lazarus about the Statue of Liberty (“Give me your tired, your poor …”). Through this interactive art experience, we hope to engage people of all ages to change the world through civic action.

I am building this float with a wonderful team at the Mill Valley Community Action Network (MVCAN), a local political group which I recently joined to resist the conservative takeover of our country.

I’m very grateful to all our friends and neighbors who are helping bring it to life: Danny Altman, Laura Boles, Jean Bolte, Phyllis Florin, David Glad, Peter Graumann, Edward Janne, Suz Lipman, Jean Marie Murphy and Mark Petrakis, to name but a few.

Our Bamboodu Float is coming along beautifully, and I can’t wait to show it off at the parade on Monday, May 29, 2017.

Join your neighbors to keep democracy alive!
