I sent this to the manafacturer to be repaired and it came back fixed - It had the hinges replaced under warranty
Søren's just noticed that the faulty aircon unit in Gossips might not be the best thing to have around a stage right now...
The husband has faulty aesthetic apparatus. He claims he's more into function than form, but, if given the choice, he will always choose to surround himself with items that come in black, from his computer and monitors, to the clothes he wears. So I take his remarks with a grain of salt. But. He asked me to pick up some new towels while I was out shopping. And then. When I returned he took one look at my purchases and declared "those are...terrible!" No honey, they just aren't black. Like your heart! Anyhow...
The Postcard
A carte postale bearing no publisher's name which was posted in Paris on the 1st. October 1907 to:
Mr. S.A. Heaps,
59, Houston Road,
Catford,
London SE,
Angleterre.
The message on the back of the card was as follows:
"Father went to see this
pulpit It is wonderfully
carved and is solid oak
from top to bottom. The
stained glass windows
are very fine.
I have seen so much I
mix everything up.
Fine today.
Love from Alice".
A Fatal Tram Accident in Birmingham
So what else happened on the day that the card was posted?
Well, on Tuesday the 1st. October 1907 there was a fatal tram accident in the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham, England.
A tram was going downhill on Warstone Lane when the brakes on the tram failed. At the junction with Icknield Street the tram overturned at high speed. It skidded until it stopped on the other side of the street, smashing into the pavement.
Two people died and 17 were injured. The tram's brakes were later found to be faulty.

This is probably my favorite page, even if my journaling is rambling. :)
The journaling says, "I always remember being very shy & quiet when I was younger. I never talked around people that I wasn't comfortable around. Sometimes I still feel like that but more often than not, I'm very outspoken & always amusing myself with breaking out in random songs and dance. I never remember doing crazy or silly things when I was younger. I never remember having big dreams or big goals for myself. I'm not sure when I became more of a free spirit, but I'm glad I did. I feel more like "me" than ever before."
It's funny because I took posed shots for this page and then realized I had plenty of my own from regular events to use, lol.
The faulty headlight relay is the one on the far right. With the assembly in the car, I pushed the relay a bit and the faulty passenger side headlight came back on.

FAULTY TOWERS: THE DINING EXPERIENCE
Wednesday 29 July, 7.30pm, SOLD OUT
The Swan, The Square, Dobcross, Saddleworth, OL3 5AA
Waited upon by Basil, Sybil & Manuel, this is fully immersive, highly improvised and site-specific comedy theatre at its best. Only a third of the show scripted, so anything can happen as you take a seat in the 'Fawlty Towers' restaurant… Expect all the best gags, shambolic service & a ‘70s style 3-course meal in ‘top end entertainment that’s not to be missed’ (What’s on London). Just don’t mention the war! Internationally acclaimed by audiences & critics alike. This globetrotting show is truly quite legendary, selling out at venues like the Royal Albert Hall & Sydney Opera House. It continues to tour the world in 2015.
IMMERSIVE THEATRE.

When it comes to the application of this phony Tuscany plaster, our contractor, Ron did a fabulous job. Such a good job that it has taken the chief inspector (wife) over 4 years to find a flaw.
WIT: 500 watt halogen shop light set up so it was parallel to the wall and highlighted the texture.
The neck pick was faulty straight out of the factory doors.... Not great for a real Fender. Either way, it was re-wound with 42AWG wire and voiced like the original! Works so nicely with the bridge pickup

My Sony HX90 keeps on going despite being rather battered. Occasionally it does this.
Meanwhile, to the right of the shot, Daughter #2 walks on.

hey apple, wtf? this is the second charger that explodes. the first one was in san francisco.
what is wrong with your product?
anyone else have this problem? i'd be inclined to think so.
if so, would you mind telling me what you did about it? did apple replace the faulty charger?
i've got a spare charger, so i'm covered for now...
but the sparks from the burning battery charger almost set a rug on fire, which could have been catastrophic had i not been in the same room.
i mean, that rug tied the whole room together, man.
how can apple get away with this kind of product defect?
