A GS series drone manufactured for data collection and reconnaissance, optimal for underwater missions. Its large "tentacle" is able to collect readings of the surrounding air/water, and its shoulder-mounted propeller delivers the thrust it needs to move quickly and efficiently in an aquatic environment. The drone features two blades for defense, and only uses them when absolutely necessary.
I got my film prints today!!! Theres only about 8 really good photos that I love, a few others that are okay, and the rest are blah.
You've seen these stars before, and yes, they are still on my window. It's been more than a year.
Funny thing is, I just went back to Day 200, and I was writing about how I wanted a D5000.
Dreams do come true.
My stream is covered in black and white. And it'll stay that way for a little while.
Arcticaborg (Арктикаборг) is an icebreaking platform supply vessel. She was previously operated by Wagenborg Kazakhstan in the Caspian Sea but was transferred to Canada in 2017 and acquired by Fathom Offshore in 2018.
Arcticaborg and her sister ship, Antarcticaborg, were built by Kværner Masa-Yards in Helsinki, Finland, in 1998. They are the first full developments of the double acting ship concept and among the first icebreakers equipped with Azipods, electric azimuth thrusters manufactured by ABB.

The vast depth of space and the multitude of stars, worlds, and galaxies is nearly impossible for our minds to fathom, but it's an awakening experience to attempt. This video may help - www.youtube.com/watch?v=xiWJoILkpVc
“The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms” from Warner Bros. was produced by Jack Dietz and Hal E. Chester and directed by Eugène Lourié, and stars Paul Christian, Paula Raymond, Cecil Kellaway, and Kenneth Tobey. The film's stop-motion animation special effects are by Ray Harryhausen. Its screenplay is based on Ray Bradbury's 1951 short story “The Fog Horn,” specifically the scene where a lighthouse is destroyed by the beast.
The storyline concerns a fictional dinosaur, the Rhedosaurus, which is released from its frozen, hibernating state by an atomic bomb test in the Arctic Circle. The beast begins to wreak a path of destruction as it travels southward, eventually arriving at its ancient spawning grounds, which includes New York City.
The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms was one of the first atomic monster movies which helped inspire a generation of creature features.

Not exactly what I was going for, but I'm running out of time. I've got a lot of stuff I still need to get done before bedtime.
For the dozen folks that are still following my photostream, as well as for the people who clicked on this square thumbnail from the homepage hoping for there to be more boobage (provided you're still reading once you realized there was no more nakedness to this photo), things began to look up a wee bit today.
It's looking rather promising that Rj will start a new job on Monday. Not in this city. In a city far enough away that we have to move. Within six weeks, because that's when our current lease is up. Quite possibly within 3-4 weeks though, if we can talk our management into letting us out of the lease (our style apartment is in high demand, so I'm thinking it won't be much of a problem).
Finding a new place to live isn't terribly easy, as some of you probably know. I emailed 23 leasing offices last night and received about a dozen responses back today. After several emails that were huge let-downs, one seems quite promising. They have a couple of apartments available, they're in our price range, it's in a nicer part of the city, and the apartment layout is to my liking. I'm, dare I say, a little bit excited about possibly living there.
However, all of this means that I'm going to be VERY busy in the next few weeks - especially since Rj won't be around to help with the packing. I can't even begin to fathom how fucking exciting it's going to be to attempt packing this place by myself with a toddler under foot. Anyhow - I shall continue with my 'only checking in periodically on Flickr' until I'm without internet service - but once we get our internet hooked up in the new place and we get things squared away, I shall return to 'spending waaaaay too much time on Flickr'. I hope you all continue to be patient with me.

Here's an earlier color image desaturated - except for the helmet. I just thought I'd give it a try...
