The Carlisle Thundering Herd football team won Friday's home conference game against the Chambersburg Spartans, by a score of 67-28.
This is Coach Conrad's first year at Carlisle as the Head Coach and there is always some growing pains with that. Carlisle has some good players coming back next year from the JV team and the Freshmen team.
The Herd players need to rededicate themselves to getting bigger, faster and stronger in the off-season. That requires a certain level of commitment. You can't show up for football practice on the first day of the school year and expect to have a championship season.

In this country they are very fond of grilled meat. They grill all parts of the cow. I had this for lunch at a food court in a shopping mall. The booth selling it had one of the longest lines (the other booth with a long line also sold grilled meat). I only finished about half of it, leaving a lot of the more exotic stuff. :-)
