With one of the fastest shove moves I've ever seen, Kaw River Railroad MP15AC shoves 4 box cars back to their yard on the Norfolk Southern Kansas City District at Birmingham Junction in Birmingham, MO.
Taken during the 2015 FIA WEC 6 Hours of the Americas at Circuit of the Americas in Austin. Taken with my Sony SAL1680Z lens while near turn 16.

As if driving for 6 hours at night is not enough, some teams have amateur drivers that pay for a seat in the race cars. They are trained and are scored in a separate category from the professional drivers, but they are still on track at the same time and under the same conditions.

Quello di "Acqua" è un progetto che ormai porto avanti da 2 mesi. Prima pensavo che 2 settimane fossero sufficienti, ma come una tempesta è cresciuto e ha spazzato via ogni mia previsione. E' un lavoro che giorno dopo giorno si affina e scava in profondità , grazie soprattutto all'entusiasmo di chi accetta o si propone di farne parte.
Questa fotografia fa parte per così dire di un B-Side, un contorno di progetto che riempie memoria digitale, ma che vorrei comunque condividere.
This tin can angel seems to burst out of the wall. He's little different and funny. Ingredients are a tin can, spring, hinge, doll arms, sewing machine hinge and air-dried clay face.

One of the most interesting photos I have ever taken, mostly because I had to hang out the back end of an SUV going down the road as I took this.
My Sony RX-100 II once failed to recognize this chip--claimed there wasn't a chip in the camera. So, I put a slower 32Mb/sec chip in the camera. The camera recognized the slower chip. I then took out the slower chip and replaced it with the faster one. This time the RX-100 recognized the faster chip too !
