I normally pass on newer constructed or resided barns but the doors of this barn were great so had to shoot them.

Fancy plastic baubles make really lightweight earrings--perfect for every day, and great for a night out.
Earrings are a total of approximately 2.5 inches in length (6cm) as measured from the top of the leverback-style earring to the bottom of the dangling beads.
Whoa. I couldn't do that, but I agree: if your skateboard lands in the tree, the tree gets to keep it.

Ponder State Bank
Every once in a while I take another picture of this old bank, built in 1910, probably because I don't know how much longer it will be here.
I found the following information at texashideout.tripod.com/banks.html
"Scenes from the Warner Bros. movie [Bonnie and Clyde] were filmed here. The movie showed Bonnie and Clyde as attempting to rob this bank. It was actually Raymond Hamilton who had attempted to rob this bank, and found that it had failed a week earlier. Hamilton was mad at the time, but later, in telling the story to Clyde, they both had a big laugh over it."
I never know what to believe.
Just out of the picture to the left is the Ranchman's Cafe, aka Ponder Steakhouse, a somewhat famous eatery. They do a creditable job with fried green tomatoes. It ain't fancy, folks!
