On our way to dinner our first night in Seattle, Steve and I stopped by two of the stores that were on my list of places to check out in Belltown: Fancy and Schmancy. In the process, we also learned that there is another store called Nancy, next to Schmancy. Fancy had lots of cool jewelry and a few other interesting things.
Mandy decided to have a Medieval themed Fancy Dress Party so we did. We got some music to and had a "blow" at the same time. There was some serious creative work going on here!
My Hero Arts clear stamp set (CL116 Fancy Scrolls) finally arrived yesterday, so I had to have a play and make something new. I decided to use two of the scrolls to create a flower and cut the shape around it. I added green gingham ribbon for the leafy bits as well as a green paper "ribbon" with the sentiment. Watercolor crayons added a bit of extra color to the flower, and the flower center is cut from a piece of decorative paper. The Hello stamp is from LP121 Bird Greetings
What else is a guy supposed to do on a snowy weekend besides try out some new lighting equipment and getting some new "fancy selfies."

I normally pass on newer constructed or resided barns but the doors of this barn were great so had to shoot them.
Given the refinement of the tearoom with its colonial design you'd think the toilet wouldn't be from some decrepit bar.

Got this laundy line with the laundry bag. Only challenge is to convince it to keep hanging for more than 10 minutes.
