So last fall I -in an impetuous moment and late in the season, grabbed a couple of packages of bulbs that were purportedly a mix including double and fancy varieties.....went home, dug a trench super quick and threw them in there. (That's supposed to mimic "naturalization" according to what I've read. Anyway when the first few dozen bloomed I thought I'd been ripped off. They were all the standard single yellow. But then, I was rewarded with quite a few of these.....this was done in the house yesterday with a halogen mini flashlight because it was dark and stormy and the flash looked, um, lame. One hand on the light, one hand on the camera....LOL. Another of my super fast experiments.
You Don’t Have to be Big to be Brilliant
Many of the smaller shrubs and other landscaping elements were illuminated. This bush just has a couple of strands of lights, but it is as showy as anything on the Plaza (well, almost). One Constitution Plaza, the Fountain, the Clock Tower, the West Apex of the Phoenix Building and various trees in the background.
Don’t forget: a SHRUB is just cultured BRUSH (I love anagrams).
The water fountain at the Gaylord Texan Resort has gorgeous flowers all around it!! We had a nice meal at the Riverwalk Cafe!
