Ça fait une éternité que je veux mettre en ligne cette photo prise par Roger lors d'une rencontre de réflexion stratégique de Comunautique dans un château chic de Montréal recyclé en j'sais pas trop quoi car il sait que je collectionne ces images.
I have been meaning for a while to put on line this photo taken by Roger during a strategic thinking meeting of Communautique at some fancy castle in Montreal recycled into I do not know what because he knows I collect these images.
Fancy sparrow! Sparrows are often brushed off as boring little brown birds. Because sometimes they kinda look like that. But there's a bunch of different species - usually with hard-to-spot differences. This one is a Lincoln's Sparrow, which isn't *rare* in Victoria, but it's definitely not that common.
This is just one of the many feral cats around Portugal.

Another IMPORTANT THING:
I am going to Texas for about a week tomorow, so I won't be on flickr. And I wanted to wish the HAPPIEST birthday to the wonderful and adorabubble(and not poorags) Emma. Happy Birthday Huuuuuuuun! A million chu's!
These were located near the elevators of the Holiday Inn near the Orchard Center in Singapore. I love that hotel.

I made some fancy pillows, yes I did! My living room needed some instant color and a quick facelift. A few fancy pillows did the trick. I used Anna Maria Horner fabric plus a bit of gorgeous grey linen (LOVE linen). I have to admit, I have a bit of a "girl crush" on Anna. She is just so amazing! Besides her family life and her incredible career, her fabrics really speak to me. Plus, she's adorable, don't ya think? I love all of her fabric lines, first I fell hard for Chocolate Lolipop, then I was a Garden Party lush, now Good Folks...just can't get enough of it. These pillows mix together those three fabric lines for a fancy and festive, good time! Opa!

It took us a few seconds to figure what IROP is! Well, it was linen, and reasonably priced, so it's got to be Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Fancy new name. Do people not want Made in Pakistan any more?

I must say this little owl has something up her sleeve (or wing!) Just by looking at her you are more than inclined to believe she must sip the priciest foreign-originated coffee at the fanciest cafe's every morning just before she goes shopping at the glamorous antique stores looking for that perfect full length mirror and gaudy pearl necklaces
No, really.....
Fancy owl was created for part of my pen/ink 'owl series' .. A series of quite expressive, 'cartoonish' owls filled to the brim with cuteness despite their sometimes snooty attitudes (consider yourself warned!)
